Hello,
I was booked to be on flight LC Peru W42506 from Cuzco to Lima on 8/11. There were severe delays and I was placed on flight W42508 so that I wouldn’t miss my international connection to the U.S.A. I confirmed 3x that my luggage would be transferred to my new flight, and I was guranteed that it was.
I landed in Cuzco and my luggage wasn’t there. I spoke to an LC Peru agent at baggage claim, and she said that she pulled all the luggage for passengers on 2508 that were originally supposed to be on 2506. She couldn’t locate my luggage. I only had 40 minutes to get to my connecting international flight. The agent took my email information and told me to go to my connecting flight counter quickly before I miss my flight
After I checked into Aeromexico they advised me to make a bag claim with LC Peru counter before I board my. international flight .
I then went to LC Peru counter and explained what happened and asked to fill out a claim for my baggage. The supervising agent there informed me they were still looking for my luggage but that I need to hurry and go to my connecting flight before I miss it. I asked about making a claim and she said to provide her with my email. I wrote it and verified she could read it. I also wrote my final destination address, and phone number. She said LCP will make arrangements to get my luggage to my final destination. I was informed that I would be emailed the information.
I contacted LC Peru and they found my luggage, but they said that I need to email Aeromexico in Lima to make a complaint, so that my luggage can be transported to me.
