The Latam flight ( LA 801 – 04/10/17) my husband & I had booked several months previously and had confirmed seat numbers – when we checked in at Santiago airport Chile – our seats were double booked – we had to stay another night – we were transported to accommodation an flew out to NZ the next night. We were give a travel voucher for compensation. We wish to take the US cash but are having trouble getting it.

I’ve tried booking a baby bassinet for my 13-hour flight for the past 2 weeks, with no luck. Latam’s service is poor, with inconsistent information.
After calling 10 times and spending hours on the phone, I was told that I should wait until the day of my trip to try to book the service on the counter. Basically, I’m relying on luck to get there on time and still have access to the service.
I know that traveling with babies can be challenging, but having this stressful experience before the trip was frustrating and disappointing.
