Hello folks, good afternoon from Jomtien!
Using huge airports for traveling has alas become a chore rather than a pleasure! Therefore who will dare mention and favor smaller airports where travelers can feel at ease, prior and after their air journey. Let me point out here : Pattaya-Utapao (UTP), its new terminal still requires an upgrading in passengers movements to and from airliners.
Hopefully more domestic routes will be initiated to and from it.
Thanks conveyed to TUI Airways uk for scheduling charter rotations to Utapao this winter, from BHX, LGW & MAN.
I look forward to receiving a response. Kind regards, from a French expat, former agent at MCM

Re: Flt WE283, 28th November 2022, Booking number 5545BS
Dear Sir/Madam,
I boarded this flight, with economy plus seating, and was seated on board at 1:50 pm, and all passengers at the gate boarded, for departure at 2:10.
The flight did not close the doors of the aircraft until 3:00 pm. There was no explanation, but I observed a lot of late arrival passengers from a connecting flight, boarding at 2:30pm until 3pm.
By this time, I have sat on the plane for 1 hour, no explanation was provided. When we finally took off at 3:20, over an hour late. I spoke with the flight attendant, in Thai language, hoping that she would be more willing to explain. She just said there were late connecting passengers.
I understand that Airlines are not allowed to delay a flight excessively for connecting passengers, especially on short haul flights of only 1hr and 10min. This inconsiderate delay disrupts boarded passengers and their appointments. All airlines, that I know , would not hold a flight departure for connecting passengers and most certainly would not do so on a short haul flight, resulting in a 1 hour delay to passengers already boarded. I’m also not sure if this is an IATA rule, I may ask my family lawyer this, but most certainly this a good practice to follow for airlines.
The pilot finally apologized for the late departure, only when we were airborne, but never provided explanation. The boarded passengers have a right to know why we are delayed, as soon as possible.
This is not the service I expect from any airline. My time is valuable, and I expect to be fully compensated and have a written apology.
Hi,
I had a flight from Krabi to Bangkok dated 30th April via Thai Vietjet Air PNR no. GWF2R4. Due to operational reason the flight has been cancelled by the airline. I have been asking the airline to refund the money back and they are denying my request saying that they won’t be refunding the money. I understand the flight has been cancelled due to COVID impact and the airline is taking undue advantage of the cancellation and not refunding the money to the customers. I am from India and our country is in complete lock down state until May 3rd 2020. Currently it seems to be a never ending situation for us out here looking at the number of COVID cases increasing day by day. I am taking the opportunity to write my grievances/concerns here so that I can seek some help in pushing the airline to refund the money back to me.
