Kuwait government has announced that it is suspending all flight operations from Friday (13th March 2020) indefinitely. It will only allow inbound trips for Kuwaiti Citizens returning to the country and cargo flights. Additionally, a 2 week public holiday has been announced from March 12th to March 26th. All the measures are taken to limit the spread of the Cornonavirus further in Kuwait.
Further restrictions include closure of restaurants, cafes and commercial centers.
Kuwait Airways has begun the process of cancelling all flights to Bangladesh, Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Lebanon and Egypt.
