IATA Location Code is a unique three-letter code used to identify the location of an airport. If the bus station and ferry station is situated in airports, they can also use IATA location identifier.
Procedures and documents required to obtain IATA location code
To obtain IATA location code, the following documents are required:
- Submit the online application form which is available in www.iata.org/cs.
- Provide the Pictures of the structure of your location and the signage as a proof
- If the airport is not yet open, you must provide a letter approved from CAA to confirm about the opening date of the location.
- Confirmation of the commercial scheduled operations that will be performed in the location.
- Once the application form is completed and the required documents are attached, IATA will send for the fees to be paid.
