How can an Armed Forces apply for defence fares?
1: Select ‘Special Fare’ — Search as ‘Defence’ for your flight.
2: Enter no. of guests.
3: Enter the promo code: “DEF50” and proceed.
4: Select the discounted fare.
5: Enter your date of birth and contact details.
6: Select add-ons, make the payment and complete the booking.
Who is eligible for student fare?
- Applicable only for the Indian Armed Forces (in service and retired) and their dependents on the day of the commencement of travel.
- Offer applicable only for bookings made on airindiaexpress.com or the Air India Express mobile app
What is the Air India Express Defence Fares?
- Up to 50% off on base fares. Any applicable fees, taxes, and add-ons are payable by the guest.
Required Documents
Travelling passengers details noted on Passenger Name Records (PNRs) while in serving, retired or dependant.
- Photo ID, with name and date of birth at the airport counter when checking in.
- Note: Failure to produce a valid ID will result in paying all applicable fare charges to the airline.
