Air Moana is an airline in French Polynesia that started in 2023. It offers direct flights between various destinations in French Polynesia, such as Tahiti, Bora Bora, Raiatea, Rangiroa, Moorea, Nuku Hiva, and Hiva Oa. The airline operates domestic flights within French Polynesia using ATR-72 aircraft and plans to expand its services to serve 12 locations throughout the South Pacific and Polynesia. The main center of Air Moana is at Faa’a International Airport in Tahiti. The
airline was established by Christian Vernaudon, a former head of Air Tahiti, and it secured its domestic operating license in December 2022. Air Moana made its inaugural flight to Bora Bora on February 8, 2023, and continues to expand its services.
