- Baggage is accepted for carriage upon check-in at the departure airport.
- The weight of one piece of baggage must not exceed 50 kilograms, with the exception of a wheelchair used by a passenger with disabilities and other persons with disabilities.
- Baggage of a larger weight is processed and transported as cargo.
- Maximum weight, overall dimensions, and the number of checked baggage in connection with the current regulations and state requirements of the airport (point) of departure, airport (point) of transfer and/or airport (point) appointments.
- Checked baggage is the bulky pieces displaying more or less large measurements. If you plan to fly with Aircompany Armenia, you should know that this company allows you to carry on board its planes:
- A piece of 30kg in Economy Class and 2x32kg in Business Class if you are flying to Beirut.
- A luggage of 23kg (Eco) and 2Ć32 (Business) if your next destination is Lyon.
- Babies who travel on Armenian Airlines flights, even if they do not have a reservation, have their share of luggage. They are entitled to a piece of luggage of 10kg on the two travel cabins.

Excess Baggage
When travelling with Air Armenia, separate excess baggage fees are applied for each limitation you exceed size, weight and quantity. Generally, this varies between geographic regions.
Excess baggage fees
- Checking excess baggage, meaning three or more bags per passenger, on Air Armenia flights will cost $85-$95 per bag.
Special Items
Air Armenia permit a wide range of sporting equipment and special baggage on Air Armenia flights. Due to the size of the baggage, some of the items may be counted as standard checked bags. However, Air Armenia will be considered overweight or oversized items. As such, charges and certain restrictions will apply by Air Armenia. Please visit the Air Armenia website directly.
Air Armenia on and bringing pets on board.
- Dogs, cats and household birds (birds are only allowed on domestic Armenia flights) can be carried on-board for $125 one way to/ from most destinations.
- The fee is $200 for travel outside the Armenia.
- The pets must fit within a carrier box that, in turn, fits under the seat in front.
- The carrier counts as one piece of Air Armenia carry-on luggage
