Breeze Airways Baggage Allowance

Breeze Airways, is an American airline headquartered in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. The airline was founded by David Neeleman, who previously co-founded Morris Air, WestJet, JetBlue, and Azul Linhas Aereas. Breeze’s operations launched on May 27, 2021, with its inaugural flight from Tampa International Airport to Charleston International Airport.

Carry-on Baggage Allowance at Breeze Airways

Carry-on bags are subject to inspection by TSA. Passengers can carry all necessary medications in carry-on bags (not in Checked Bags).

• Maximum dimensions: 24 x 14 x 9 inches (including handles and wheels)
• Weight: within 35 pounds.

Note: If your bag is larger then add it as a checked bag.

• Carry-on bags purchased on No Flex Fare reservations.

• Nice, Nicer, and Nicest Bundles can’t removed and are nonrefundable.
• Cancelled bags fees are credited to Breezy Rewards Account™ in the form of BreezePoints.
• No refund for Unused bags.

When did the Carry-on bag should change?

• Bags must changed before 24 hours of your original scheduled departure time. Your bags will be attached to your reservation within 24 hours of departure.

​Breeze Airways Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked bags are available for individual purchase or may be included in applicable bundles. Any checked bag that exceeds the size and weight restrictions will be considered overweight or oversized bags for an additional charge. Checked bags are subject to inspection by TSA. ​

• Maximum dimensions: Not exceed 62 linear inches (length + width + height) and weigh no more than 50 pounds.

How much allowed on Carry-on Baggage?

• Passengers who have purchased the Nicer fare given a free allowance of 1 free checked bag.
• Allow up to five (5) total checked bags per Guest.

Checked bag at the Airport

• ​Checked bags accepted at the ticket counter before 2 hours departure and no later than 45 minutes before flight time.
• Bag tag kiosks are not available at our airports (bring your bags to our ticket counter).
• Breeze recommends placing identification on the inside and outside of bags.
• Special items like strollers, wheelchairs, or assistive devices will not count toward your checked bag limit.

Additional checked bags added in My Trips, Edit Guest Bags. Guests can purchase up to three (3) checked bags while booking travel through the Breeze app or flybreeze.com.

Breeze Airways Excess Baggage Allowance

Bags weighing over 50 lbs or measuring over 62 inches (length + width + height), additional bag charges apply.

For Overweight Bags Charges applied for the bags weighs,

• Between 51 and 70 pounds
• Between 71 and 99 pounds
• No Bags accept weigh more than 99 pounds.

For Oversized Bags Charges applied for the bags weighs,

• Between 63 and 80 overall inches (length + width + height)
• No Bags measures more than 80 inches in overall dimensions (length+width+height) accepted.

Oversized and Overweight Bags

• Overweight and oversized bag prices are charged in addition to the price of the bag.
• Bags that are both oversized and overweight are subject to both weight and size additional charges.
• Bags weighing more than 99 pounds or measuring larger than 80 inches in overall dimensions (length+width+height) are not accepted.
• Overweight and oversized bag prices are per bag per direction.
• Overweight and oversized bag prices apply to a la carte purchases and to bags included in bundles.

Pet Carriers

1. Small, domesticated cats and dogs for a charge of $75 per one-way journey.
2. Pets are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Pet allowed: up to 5 pets per flight
4. A limit of one (1) soft-sided pet carrier is allowed per Guest, even if they’ve purchased an extra seat.
5. Maxi. weight: 25 lbs, including the carrier.
6. Only one (1) pet per soft-sided carrier is allowed, even if the total weight is under 25 lbs.
7. Purchase through: Nice, Nicer, or Nicest Bundle.
8. Guests who book a Nice Bundle may need to purchase a checked bag (or a Nicer or Nicest Bundle) if they have extra baggage besides their personal item since a pet carrier will count as their carry-on bag allowance.

Military Bag Allowance

For Active U.S. military Guests only: Receive 1 carry-on bag and 2 checked bags free while traveling on Breeze Airways.

For Active U.S. military Guests traveling on orders: Receive 1 carry-on bag and up to 5 checked bags free when traveling with Breeze.

No need to add bags during the booking process and Breeze Airways take care of it at the airport. Active U.S. military Guests have to check in at the ticket counter and present their valid U.S. military ID to receive the free bags. To receive the free carry-on bag and courtesy preboarding, ID will be verified again at the gate.

Notes:

• Checked bags exceeding 99 lbs or 80 linear inches not accepted.
• Carry-on bags are subject to standard weight and size restrictions.
• U.S. military Guests must follow all other bag restrictions and guidelines.
• Regular bag charges will apply for retired U.S. military members, ROTC, and families of active-duty members.

If you bring your Sports equipment on Breeze Airways carry-on or checked bag, it will charged. It should fulfill the size and weight restrictions, additional overweight and/or oversized bag charges will apply. You’ll need to sign a limited liability release form when checking your gear.
