Procedures and documents required to obtain IATA Baggage Tag Issuer Code (BTIC)

To obtain IATA Baggage Tag Issuer Code (BTIC), the following documents are required:

1. Submit the online application form which is available in www.iata.org/cs. The application form must be received from either an airline or from CRS
2. Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by a government.
3. Photocopies of company’s Certificate of Incorporation/Registration (COI/COR)
4. Breakdown of company’s list of shareholders including percentage ownership of each shareholder.
5. The document should be on corporate letterhead and dully signed and stamped with a corporate seal.
6. Documents (no. 3 and 4) must be translated in English. It will be signed and certified by official translator.
