Opened in 1963, Jandakot Airport is the major General Aviation airport in Western Australia, and is one of the busiest airfields and largest aviation training bases in Australia.
Facilities At Jandakot Airport (JAD)
Jandakot Airport has its own dedicated Air Traffic Control Tower, operated by Airservices Australia. The operating hours for the ATC Tower are published in ERSA.Runways 06L/24R and 12/30 have single stage lights and all major taxiways have green centre line lighting. Pilot Activated Lighting Control (PALC) is available outside of Air Traffic Control Tower operating hours.
