    Dear Sir,

    Flight LO611 17.02.2020 – Amsterdam-Warsaw-Zagreb – Stolen goods

I took the above flight. At the checking desk, the lady who issued me with the boarding pass suggested I check in my small luggage, free of charge (otherwise, I would have taken it with me, as I did on the way to the Netherlands). She asked me if I had a laptop and to take it out, which I did. I told her I would place my perfumes in the bag in that case I didn’t have to place them in a separate bag to undergo the scrutiny as I went through. She asked me if I had the perfume that was over 100ml – at the time I thought that was a strange question. I bought myself a perfume in Stansted airport – I treated myself for my birthday. In the Netherlands, my boyfriend gave me a perfume too and a bag of his grandmother’s jewellery, who died two months ago. Between my flights I only had short interval – I noticed the woman at the desk put ‘PRIORITY’ tag. I later on saw her at the gates, and to make sure, I asked her if she checked me all the way to Zagreb, and she said she did.
I contacted security in Zagreb, on my way back, since the missing items I realised I did not have was in Dubrovnik when I unpacked. In Zagreb I collected my bag and had a few hours in between the flights – at no time did I leave my bag anywhere – I was travelling alone.
I would really like you to investigate this and contact me as soon as possible.
I communicated with the police in Zagreb and I am still waiting to hear from them with the reference number I can use for my travel insurance. Schiphol airport suggested to contact LOT, and I have therefore contacted you as the third port of call.
I am very shocked that my hand luggage was violated in this way and I ask for your thourough investigation and response.

    Geachte lezer,
