The standard permissible weight is 25 kg, which includes 20 kg of checked-in luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage per person. There is no additional baggage allowance allocated for infants. The weight for any bag should not exceed 32 kg

• Maldivian will notify you as soon as your baggage is located.
• To collect your baggage from us at the respective airport.

If bag is not found:

• In the unlikely event that your delayed bag is still not located after tracing period of 21 days, you will need to send a separate claim in writing, addressed to Maldivian Baggage Services within 7days of your travel date. Together with the claim you will need to provide the following:
  • A copy of the property irregularity report made upon your arrival at destination airport.
  • A copy of your passport (National ID for Maldivians can be accepted).
