My husband and I flew from Johannesburg to Durban on Sunday 6 October on JE247 our flight was 1 hour 26 minutes late. This may not seem a lot to you but we had to catch the shuttle to Umtentweni on the South coast. We had alowed 1hour 30 minutes to catch the shuttle, but after the company holding the transport for 15 minutes for us we just caught it as we only had cabin baggage and we ran through the airport. An apology is not enough if we had not caught the shuttle the following ones were fully booked we would have had to try and hire a car then bring it back 150 kilometres the next day, expensive and inconvenient. I AM SORRY BUT AN APOLOGY IS NOT ENOUGH. by the way we are 6o and 78 years old.

On 23January 2020 I booked a return flight from Oliver Tambo to Cape Town, for my wife and me on 28 March 2020 (flight JE 129) to return on 05 April 2020 (flight JE 146). Due to the total lockout I had to cancel the fligts on 24 March 2020. I immedietly received an answer that I will receive a coupon within 10 days to confirm the cancelation.
It is now 27 days and yet, i have to receive the coupon.

I BOOKED A FLIGHT 2 WEEKS BEFORE LEVEL 3 COVID 19 WAS OPEN FROM DURBAN TO JOHANNESBURH TO BRING MY WIFE AND CHILD FROM JOHANNESBURGH WISH WAS STUCK THERE FOR THE LOCKDOWN . I MANAGE TO GET A PERMIT JUST FOR THE WEEKEND TO GO AND PICK MY FAMILY UP ONLY TO FIND OUT 2 DAYS LATER THAT THE FLIGHTS HAD BEEN CANCELLED. MANGO ISSUED ME WITH VOUCHERS FOR THE TICKETS THAT WAS CANCELLED. I HAD TO DRIVE UP WHICH WAS AN EXTRA COST TO ME . I TRIED TO GET IN CONTACT WITH MANGO TO GET A REFUND CAUSE THE VOUCHERS WAS OF NO USE TO ME ANYMORE. I THEN SENT EMAILS TO MANGO REFUND WITH MY DETAILS OF MY TICKET AND UP UNTIL TODAY I HAVE GOT NO REPLY. I THEN CALLED MANGO AND WAS TRANSFERED TO 3 DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS FOR THEM TO TELL ME THAT THEY DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS . I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH THEY ANSWER AND WILL LIKE A REFUND AND WILL NOT RECOMEND OR USE MANGO AIRLINE AGAIN THEY CUSTOMER SERVICE LEVEL IS DISGUSTING AND OF NO HELP
We booked flights on SAA, which were transferred to Mango. On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport , 3 September 2020 we were informed our flight out was cancelled, we only had a flight back. An angle at the check-in took us to customer services. Two angles at this desk figured out SAA made an error. Mango helped sort out the problem and with some luck there were seats on the flight. We made it out, at no extra cost. Thanks to all we enjoyed a safe flight to Cape Town and enjoyed our stay. Service beyond the expected.

In December 2020 I booked flights to Durban with Mango on the Mango website. After entering my credit card details the website kept trying to process the payment and booking. This went on for quite a while. I was then told to contact Mango, which I duly did. After waiting for a considerable time I was finally told that to cancel the booking I must log out of the website as their website bookings was giving problems. I did this and then proceeded to book with Travelstart, which was R2000 cheaper just by the way!!! Not long afterwards I received an alert fraud message from my bank – the amount for the original mango flight on their “faulty” website, had been deducted from my credit card without me even going through any secure payment procedures. I once again contacted Mango and after another considerable wait was told the booking was confirmed and the email had been sent with my tickets and confirmation of booking. I informed the consultant that I had never received any email of confirmation or tickets. She then said she would look into the matter. Well I never heard from her again. I have since emailed Mango THREE times and not once have they even had the decency to acknowledge receiving my query. And to this day I have never received any tickets or email of confirmation. To me this amounts to BLATANT theft!! Disgusting customer service. Obviously customers mean nothing to them. If they don’t want to refund me why don’t they just offer me tickets for another trip? Seriously how on earth do they expect to continue to operate like this?
Flight No: JE144 from CapeTown to Johannesburg the flight got delayed departure time was supposed to be 12:15 and boarding time was 14:30 but due to delay departure was 15:00.

i booked flights before COVID could start, and we could not travel due to that as a result we were advise to request vouchers which i did, but unfortunately the system could not accept the voucher, i was then advise to book trough http://www.mango .com, which i did still there all the flights are not available when using the above website. I tried all avenues lastly i was advised to book a week before i travel, but still that did not assist, Mango phones are just ringing without any picks…this is really frustrating…why cant they just refund us….i cannot pay another money where mango still owes me…very frustrating
