The procedures for travellers exiting UAE from any of the international airports in UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah & RAK airports) are similar.
UAE airports conduct rapid COVID19 tests before allowing the travellers to check-in into the airport.
Step 1: Wear a mask, reach the departure terminal, show your ticket, passport and walk through the disinfection tunnel.
Step 2: Do the rapid blood test and get the result. If the result is negative, a sticker will be placed on the passport. If positive, the passenger will be quarantined.
Step 3: Check-in following social distancing guidelines, using the markers/stickers on the waiting line for the checkin counters. Collect mask, face shield, sanitizer from the checkin counters.
Step 4: Clear immigration following social distancing guidelines, using the markers/stickers on the waiting line for the immigration counters.
Step 5: Reach the boarding gates and clear the security check. Wear the face shields after the security check.
Step 6: Board the plane. You will be called as per the seat number, boarding will be done first for the seats in the back of the plane.
That’s it. Travel safely.
