Three new flights from Southwest Florida International Airport were announced by Avelo Airlines to Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina; Kalamazoo, Michigan; and Lansing, Michigan. Aircraft from Boeing’s Next-Generation 737 will fly the additional routes.
These routes will add to an existing route to New Haven, Connecticut, bringing Avelo’s total number of cities from RSW to four. Beginning on November 10 with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, the route will serve Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Beginning on Mondays and Fridays in November, flights to Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport will thereafter operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning in November.
Beginning Nov. 11, the route to Lansing’s Capital Regional International Airport will also run on Mondays and Fridays.
