Travelers interested in registering for TSA Pre✓™may enroll at the SJC Precheck application site on Terminal A and B.

TSA Pre✓™is an expedited screening program that allows travelers at security checkpoints where you can keep your wallet, shoes, belt, jacket, laptops and 3-1-1 compliant liquids / gels (in carry bag) at the TSA Mineta San Jose International Airport.

TSA recommends passengers should arrive 2 hours prior to scheduled departure for check in and security processing for domestic flights and 3 hours prior for international flights.

Terminal A opens at: 4:00 AM

Terminal B opens at: 4:15 AM

Note:

• Ticketed passengers only are allowed past security checkpoints. You can access to all concessions and retail options in both Terminal A and Terminal B is available to all travelers.
• Passengers with a boarding pass and only carry-on luggage may enter the terminals through either checkpoint.

TSA Identification for Kids:

• Passengers of age 18 years and older should produce a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card, a state-issued enhanced driver’s license, or a TSA-acceptable form of identification at airport security checkpoints in order to fly domestically.
