I booked a flight from Batumi to Istanbul. First I was informed, that the back flight is canceled. No problem, one day more Istanbul. Then one day before flight I got in the evening the information that the flight from Batumi to Istanbul was canceled. I had to rebook. For the hotel it was too late, I had to pay for this night. After we checked in in Batumi, they announced, that flight will be delayed for one hour. After half hour they informed, that flight was canceled due bad weather conditions. The weather in Batumi was normal. No wind, no rain. On the counter they told me, that they will refund the ticket price, because under this circumstance it was not possible to rebook for the weekend a flight from Batumi to Istanbul. When I wrote to support about refund the ticket price, I got the message, that no refund will be paid, because of their regulations. First, why you told me in airport you will refund if this is not covered by your policy? Second, why we had to check in in Batumi and wait. Because flight from Istanbul takes more then 2 hours to Batumi it was clear, that the plane didn’t fly from Istanbul to Batumi. This you have known long before check in. Why you are cheating and stealing the money for the ticket? I had only costs, no excuse only stupid answers from service support. Of course I also didn’t get compensation for not used hotel costs, visa, traveling to airport e.g.

Hi. I have just experienced something similar. Probably due to few seats sold they cancelled my flight 3rd June from Batumi to Istanbul. I have to be back in northern Europe the same evening. They re-routed me to Istabul late evening 3rd June but did nothibg about the other two flights. Last time which also was the first time I used Turkish Airlines there was also delays. They do not seem to care about people at all. Not a big surprise, but I do not understand how they are welcomed in the Star Alliance system????

16th of April I hat the coming back flight to Barcelona via Istanbul.
I arrived to the airport 1:15h before taking off but was attended at the desk the last one, while so many travelers who arrived after me were attended before at the desks. Furthermore, you told me that I needed to fill an online form to come back to Spain, and that was not correct for citizens of Spain and EU with complete vaccination. I did not need to fill any form but you insisted and insisted.
Thanks to the manager at the airport, who took a pic of my passport and saved my mobile number, I was allowed to take the flight. He told me he will fill the online form for me and will sent me the ticket by WhatsApp.
Once I arrived to Istanbul I checked for it and he did not send anything, maybe because he checked they I did not need to fill any form as I said before. But in any case many thanks for him.
Iād like to complain about the process of checking and about the obsolescence of the information they have about the requirements to flight. They should be more updated about it and also they should organize better the checking and avoid people arriving 20 min before the taking off come to the front with friends or known people, not being first class. And we foreigner people come to be the last ones to check-in.
