IATA have become the most incompetent, money-grabbing organization on the planet. You are not there to safeguard your passengers – who are essentially the people that enable airlines to operate who in turn pay exorbitant IATA fees.
Who do you turn to for recourse or airline issues, if IATA (who are being paid fees to ensure the passenger is safeguarded) are not prepared to step in and resolve the issue?
I am flabbergasted by the inability of IATA in every sense of the word.

Good morning, I was wondering if you could help me. I bought premium economy return Taag Angola air ticket using the travel agent Havayan travel and tours to fly from Johannesburg to Lisbon on 9 July, 2022. Was not able to travel due to short illness. Raquel Augusto at Taag Angola BSP desk approved the refund application filed by the agency and advised that I should contact the Havayan travel and tour agency in the first week of August to receive the refund money.

I took a screenshot of the response I got from this officer via and mailed it to the agency.

The agent said she hasn’t received any refund money yet.

Julian Sibeko at Taag Angola account desk advised that IATA facilitate payment through their bilinf system.

Kindly use this BSP number stated below to check and confirm on the as to whether the agency is telling me the truth.

Also attach the proof of payment to me via email.

    Good day.
I was wondering if you could help me. My husband and I bought premium economy return Air France air ticket using the travel agent e-sky to fly from Cape Town to Glasgow in February, 2020. We were due to fly in May 2020 but the ticket was cancelled due to COVID and the travel agent offered a refund.

We forwarded all the relevant information to e-sky but since then have had no reply to e-mails or phone calls. In desperation I phoned Air France last week and they told me that the airline had made a full refund to e-sky.

Please help me get the refund from e-sky.

Many thanks and kindest regards, Anne Hacking 0828258053
