Air Asia Flights have been suspended to the following destinations due to CoronaVirus (nCoVid 19)

Air Asia Flights have been cancelled to Philippines from 20 th Marc 2020 to 14 th April 2020.

AirAsia is cancelling all its domestic flights to/from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport until 14 April. Domestic flights to/from the Clark International Airport will be cancelled starting 20 March until 14 April.

Air Asia International flights to/from both said airports will also be cancelled starting 20 March until 14 April.

Thai Air Asia X Flights have been suspended flights between Bangkok and Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka from 16 March to 16 June 2020

Thai AirAsia X (airline code XJ) will be temporarily suspending its services between Bangkok and Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka from 16 March to 16 June 2020 (operations will be resumed from 17 June 2020 onwards). For more details, visit here

Thai Air Asia X Flights have been suspended flights between Bangkok and South Korea from 17 March to 28 June 2020

Thai AirAsia X (airline code XJ) will be temporarily suspending its services between Bangkok and Seoul-Incheon from 17 to 28 March 2020, in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.Ā  For more details, visit here

Thai Air Asia X Flights have been suspended flights between Bangkok and Kunming, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau from 11th March to 31st March 2020

Thai AirAsia (airline code FD) will be temporarily suspending its services between Bangkok and Kunming, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau from 11 to 31 March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. For more details, visit here

Australia

1.All nationals except Australian citizens and permanent residents (or their immediate family, legal guardian or spouse) that have travelled or transited through mainland China.

2.All nationals except Australia and permanent residents who have been in Iran in the last 14 days

3.All nationals who have left or transited through the Republic of Korea

*Australians and permanent residents returning home mandatorily must perform a 14-day self-quarantine

Bangladesh

1.All nationals arriving from mainland China, Iran, Italy or Republic of Korea and Nationals of Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau can no longer obtain a visa on arrival.

2.All nationals arriving from mainland China, Iran, Italy or Republic of Korea with a pre-arranged visa must have a medical certificate* stating that the person is not affected by Coronavirus (COVID-19). The certificate must be duly certified by the embassy.

*This does not apply to nationals of Bangladesh.

Brunei

1.All nationals from Hubei, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces will not be allowed to enter Brunei .

2.All nationals who have been to Iran and Italy within 14 days of arriving in Brunei including for transit purposes.

*This prohibition is exempted for the citizens and permanent residents of Brunei

* Citizens and permanent residents of Brunei as well as long-term visa holders who have been in other regions in Mainland China, Italy, Iran and Republic of Korea within 14 day of arriving in Brunei are required to undergo self-isolation for 14 days upon arrival

Cambodia

All nationals who have travelled from the following countries are not allowed entry into Cambodia:

*France

*Germany

*Spain

*Italy

*USA

China

The 15-day visa-free for Japanese nationals travelling to China on business or family visits is suspended unless they hold an original invitation letter issued within 7 days from the sponsor in China stating the contact person and address in China

Hong Kong

1.Hubei Residents are restricted for entry

2.All nationals including Chinese and Hong Kong residents who have visited Mainland China in the last 14 days will be subjected to a compulsory quarantine for 14 days upon arrival

*Any national who holds a permit to stay in Hong Kong which is shorter than the length of the compulsory quarantine (i.e. 14 days) will be denied entry

3.All nationals who have visited the Republic of Korea in the past 14 days restrict to entry

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā Exceptions (able to enter Hong Kong)

-All nationalities who have transited via the Republic of Korea and have not been to Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk in the last 14 days

-All nationals holding a new entry visa to work, study, establish or join in any business or to take up residence in Hong Kong and accredited members of consular missions and internationalorganizations

– Holders of diplomatic/official passports who are locally accredited.

-All nationals with existing resident visas expired but produced approval notice/letter for collection of ā€œextension of stayā€ visas for residenc.

-All nationals with existing resident visas expired but they have a letter for a scheduled appointment for verification of original documents in Hong Kong for ā€œverification of eligibility of permanent identity cardā€ applications

3.All nationals including Hong Kong residents who have been from France ( Bourgogne-France-Comte and Grand Est) , Germany ( North Rhine-Westphalia) , Spain ( La Rioja , Madrid and Pais Vasco ) , Japan ( Hokkaido), Italy ( Whole of Italy ) or from Iran in the past 14 days will stay in quarantine center for 14 days upon arrival. Any national who holds a permit to stay in Hong Kong which is shorter than the length of the compulsory quarantine (i.e. 14 days) will be denied entry.

India

1.All existing visas (including e-visa/VOA), except diplomatic, official, UN/International Organizations, employment, project visas are suspended until 15th April 2020. Visa free travel facility granted to OCI card holders are suspended until 15th April 2020.

2.All incoming passengers, including Indian nationals, arriving from or having visited China, Italy, Iran, Republic of Korea, France, Spain and Germany after 15th Feb 20 will be quarantined for 14 days.

3.All incoming passengers coming from Afghanistan, Malaysia,and Philippines, to India is prohibited (including Fly-Thru) with immediate effect.

4.Until cases of COVID019 subsides, all nationals travelling from/having visited Italy or Republic of Korea and desirous of entering India will need a certificate having tested negative for COVID-19 from the designated laboratories authorized by the health authorities of these countries.

* Indian nationals presently abroad are advised to avoid non-essential travel. They are hereby informed that they can be quarantined for a minimum of 14 days on their arrival in India.

* Visa for all foreigners already in India remain valid.

Indonesia

1.No visa-free visits and visas for:

a. Chinese nationals

b. Foreigners who have lived and/or visited mainland China the past 14 days

c. All nationals who have visited the following towns/countries in the last 14 days

-Iran: Tehran, Qom and Gilan in Iran

-Italy: Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna, Marche and Piedmont in Italy

– South Korea: Daegu City and Gyeongsangbuk-do

Ā Ā Province in South Korea

2.All nationals including Chinese nationals in China can obtain a visa at the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate in China if meeting the below conditions:

a. Certificate of health from a medical institution (in English)

b. Been away from a Covid-19 infected area for more than 14 days.

c. A letter confirming that they have either completed the 14 day quarantine or that they have not visited any affected country in the last 14 days.

3.Chinese nationals who live outside China can be obtain visa at Indonesian Embassy/Consulate if meeting the below conditions:

a. Certificate of health from a medical institution (in English)

b. A letter confirming that they have either completed the 14 day quarantine or that they have not visited any affected country in the last 14 days.

4.All nationals excluding Chinese nationals and nationals living in China who have met the entry requirements for Indonesian will be granted entry only after a health inspection by the Health Quarantine upon arrival.

Japan

1.All nationals who have travelled to Hubei Province or Zhejiang Province in China within 14 days prior to their arrival in Japan.

2.All foreign nationals who have Chinese passports issued by Hubei Province or Zhejiang Province in China.

3.All foreign nationals who have stayed in the following cities/provinces/regions within 14 days prior to the arrival into Japan

– China: Hubei Province, Zhejiang Province

– Republic of Korea: Daegu-guangyeok-si, or Gyeongsan-si, Andong-si, Yeongcheon-si, Cheondo-gun, Chilgok-gun, Uiseong-gun, Seongju-gun, Gunwi-gun in Gyeongsangbuk-do

– Iran: Qom Province, Tehran Province, Gilan Province, Manzandaran Province, Isfahan Province, Alborz Province, Markazi Province, Qazvin Province, Semnan Province, Golestan Province, Lorestan Province

– Italy: Lombardy Region, Veneto Region,Emilia-Romagna Region, Marche Region, Piedmont Region

– San Marino

Korea

1.Hubei residents and all nationals, except for Korean nationals, who visited Hubei province within the past 14 days cannot enter or transit at Korea ports.

2.Japanese passport holders without a visa or visa issued on or before 9 March 2020 are not allowed to enter Korea.

Specific Requirement for Jeju Island

1.Special Entry Arrangements to Jeju Island (visa-free entry) will be suspended.

2.All nationals from countries without visa-exemption agreement with Korea, will be required a valid Korea visa

3.Japanese passport holders without visa or visa issued on or before 9th March 2020 are required to have a new valid visa.

Macau

Non- Macau nationals/residence from Hubei Province and those that have travelled to Hubei Province in the past 14 days.

*Exceptions will be made to non-Macau national/residence who can present a doctorā€™s certificate issued by a legal medical institution stating that they are not infected with the coronavirus.

Italy and Iran:

All nationals who have been to Italy or Iran within the past 14 days prior to their entry into Macau must, at the discretion of the health authorities, undergo medical observation in isolation for 14 days at a designated venue.

Republic of Korea:

All nationals who travelled to the Republic of Korea within the past 14 days prior to their entry into Macau must, at the discretion of the health authorities, undergo medical observation for 14 days at designated venue.

All nationals who have travelled to Norway, Germany, France, Spain or Japan in the past 14 days will have to undergo a medical examination upon arrival.

*All arrival passengers who have been in other countries/regions in the last 14 days other than China including Macau residents, tourists, foreign workers and students except those from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan must undergo 14-day medical observation at a designated venue.

Malaysia

Peninsular Malaysia

1.Residents of Wuhan district, Hubei Province, Zhejiang and Jiangsu, and those that have visited Hubei Province, Zhejiang and Jiangsu in the past 14 days.

2.All nationals, excluding Malaysians, permanent residents, student pass and long term social pass holders, who have visited the Republic of Korea, Italy and Iran in the past 14 days They are also not allowed to transit in Malaysia

3.All nationals, except Malaysian nationals, permanent residents, social pass holders and Malaysian student passes who have visited the following towns/countries in the last 14 days

-Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna in Italy

-Hokkaido in Japan

Sabah

1.All nationals including Malaysian nationals (non-resident of Sabah) who have been in mainland China, Republic of Korea, Iran and Italy in the past 14 days.

2.Nationalities of Iran and Italy not allowed to enter Sabah

3.All transit passengers originating or from mainland China and the Republic of Korea

Exemptions:

1.Any Sabahan, permanent resident of Sabah, residents under work pass, student pass and long term social visit pass who have been in mainland China, Republic of Korea, Iran and Italy are exempted and will be subjected to a 14 day home quarantine

2.Republic of Korea nationals who have been out of the country beyond 14 days

Sarawak

1.All nationalities who have been to mainland China, South Korea, Italy and Iran in the last 14 days.

2.All Sarawakians and Sarawakian Permanent Resident, Work and Student Visa holders who have been to mainland China, South Korea, Italy and IranĀ Ā in the last 14 days, must be undergo COMPULSORY home quarantine for 14 days. They will be subjected to random monitoring by the Medical Authority.

Maldives

All nationals except Maldivian nationals and spouse of Maldivian nationals with a travel history to the following countries or regions within the last 14 days

1.Mainland China

2.Iran

3.Republic of Korean regions of Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Busan, Seoul, Gyeonggi and Gyeongnam

4.Italy

5.Bangladesh

6.Spain

7.Ǝle-de-France and Grand Est, of France

8.Bavaria, North Rhine Westphalia and Baden-Wuerttemberg regions of Germany

9.Malaysia

10.United Kingdom (effective 20th of March 2020)

Myanmar

1.Chinese nationals without visa must not be accepted due to temporary suspension of Visa on Arrival for Chinese passport holders

2.Passenger from Republic of Korea (including Myanmar national) are required to present Medical Certification stating the person is free from Covid-19

Philippines

1.Chinese nationals with passports issued in Hubei Province

2.Regardless of nationality, except for Filipino citizens and holders of Permanent Resident Visa* issued by the Philippines Government, who have visited and/or transiting China, Hong Kong and Macau in the last 14 days prior their arrival into the Philippines.

3.Regardless of any nationality, except Filipino citizens and holders of Permanent Resident Visa* issued by the Philippines Government, arriving directly from China, Hong Kong and Macau

3.Ā Ā Ā Member of the diplomatic corps

5. All nationals who have travelled/transited IRAN and ITALY within 14 days prior to arrival in the Philippines shall be required to present/submit to Primary Inspectors (Immigration Officers) a Medical Clearance or Health Declaration Certificate, issued by Health Authority within 48 hours prior to arrival in the Philippines, certifying that said passenger is COVID-19 free, and shall be required to undergo a 14-day quarantine. Failure to present a Medical Clearance or Certificate shall automatically be excluded and immediately sent back to the port of origin.

Exemptions

1. Philippines Nationals and foreign their spouse and children

2. Permanent resident visa holders

3. Member of the diplomatic corps

*All Filipinos are banned from travelling to China, Hong Kong and Macau

Saudi Arabia

1.Suspension of entry for the purpose of Umrah

2.All nationals who have travelled or arriving from mainland China, Taipei, Hong Kong, Macau, Iran, Italy, Republic of Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Philippines, Singapore, India, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Somalia ad Vietnam

3.All nationals, including those holding a valid residence permit for Saudi Arabia, who have transited in the countries above in the last 14 days

4.All nationals who have been to mainland China, Taipei, Hong Kong, Iran, Italy, Republic of Korea and Macau in the past 14 days.

*Nationals of GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) can only enter Saudi Arabia with a passport and not the national ID

Singapore

1. Mainland China, Italy, Iran, Germany, France and Spain

-All nationals with a recent travel history to mainland China, Italy, Iran, Germany, France and Spain within the last 14 days will not be allowed entry into Singapore, or to transit through Singapore.

-Singaporeā€™s status as a visa-free transit facility for those with PRC passports will be suspended

2.Previously issued short-term and multiple-visit visas for those with People Republic of China (PRC) passports will also be suspended.

-During this period of suspension, PRC passport holders will not be allowed entry into Singapore.

-Returning residents (Singaporean citizens/PRs)Ā Ā and long-term pass holders (including Work Passes and Permits, Student Pass, Dependent Pass and Long-term Visit Pass) with travel history in mainland China, Italy and Iran will be placed on a 14-day leave of absence from the day of their return from China

3.Republic of Korea

-All new visitors with travel history to the Republic of Korea within the last 14 days will not be allowed entry into Singapore or transit through Singapore.

-Returning residents and long-term pass holders (other than work pass holders) with travel history to the Repblic of Korea within the last 14 days will be issued Stay-Home-Notices (SHNs).

-Returning work pass holders (including dependants) with travel history to the Republic of Korea within the last 14 days will be required to show the MOM approval letter to the airline staff at check-in at the point of departure, and at the ICA checkpoint upon arrival in Singapore, to gain entry into Singapore. Upon entry, they will be issued Stay-Home-Notices SHNs.

Sri Lanka

1.All Chinese nationals must have an approved ETA before arriving into Colombo.

2.Visa on Arrival will not be available for Chinese nationals.

3.All nationals with a travel history to Italy, Republic of Korea and Iran in the last 14 days will be subjected to mandatory quarantine period of 14 days at a designated Isolation Centre in Sri Lanka.

4.Visa On Arrival will not be available to all nationals except ETA exempted countries, Singapore, Maldives and Seychelles

*ETA exempted countries; Maldives, Singapore, Seychelles will be included in to the ETA system and exemption facility for such countries will be temporarily suspended until further notice. Foreign national of said countries, who wish to travel to Sri Lanka only for essential purposes, shall apply for visa via online through ETA website (www.eta.gov.lk).However, they may be subjected to the quarantine procedures which will be implemented as per the prevailing requirement of the country upon their arrival.

5..All nationals from Iran, Italy and Republic of Korea, including Sri Lankans nationals will not be allowed entry

6.All nationals from Qatar, Bahrain, France, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Netherland, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway and United Kingdom

Taiwan

1.All Chinese nationals, except for those who are married to Taiwanese citizens holding Taiwan ARC

2.All Hong Kong and Macau nationals, including British National (Overseas) passports, except for

1) spouses and children of Taiwanese citizens holding Taiwan ARC;

2) those arriving to sign a business contract with a Taiwanese company; and

3) those arriving to work for a Taiwanese company on a work permit

3.All other nationals who have entered in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau in the past 14 days, except for ARC holders. This does not apply to those who only transit in these three regions.

Quarantine Policy

Those who are qualified for entry from the above restrictions will be subject to a home quarantine for 14 days. In addition, all nationals who have been to the following countries in the past 14 days will also be quarantined. During the quarantine period, return flight out of Taiwan is not allowed.

Thailand

1.Passenger from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Republic of South Korea, Iran and Italy must comply and present the following documents at the airport before acceptance;

Medical Certificates

1)Ā Ā Medical Certificate for General Passenger must be completed and signed by a Doctor confirming that the person is free from Covid-19 and;

2) Tested Negative for COVID-19 medical certificate from designated laboratories from the country of departure issue within 48 hours and;

3)Ā Ā Ā Ā Medical Certificate stating that the person has no other sickness within the past 14 days

Other document

1)Ā Ā Health Insurance Certificate with the coverage of USD100,000 per person to cover their stay in Thailand except for Thai Nationals

Note: Passenger is required to undergo the mandate 14 days self-quarantine upon arrival into Thailand

2) Passenger from other countries;

Passengers who have visited Mainland China (including Hong Kong and Macau), Republic of South Korea, Iran and Italy in the past 14 days do not require any documents. However, they must undergo a 14 days self-quarantine

USA

(State of Hawaii)

All foreign nationals, except US citizens, permanent residents and their families who are not citizens or holding permanent resident status, who have travelled within mainland China, Iran or Europe Schengen Area Countries excluding the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland in the past 14 days.

Vietnam

1.All nationals except Vietnam nationals who have been in or transited through mainland China in the past 14 days.

2.Diplomatic and official passport holders meeting Vietnam entry requirements will undergo a 14 days quarantine period upon arrival.

3.No free visa for Korean nationals

4.No free visa for these 8 European countries: United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden.

5.No free visa for Italian nationals.

6.Cancelled Certificate of visa exemption issued for Overseas Vietnamese from epidemic countries (China, Korea, Italia, Iran, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden)

7. Visa on Arrival will be suspended for all foreign nationals

* Tourists coming from the Schengen countries and/or the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Iran, Korea, China or have visited or transited through these areas within 14 days will be quaratined for 14-days.
