Philippine Airlines – CoronaVirus (nCoVid 19) Travel updates

Philippine Airlines have been suspended to the following destinations due to CoronaVirus (nCoVid 19)

MANILA ā€” Philippine Airlines said on Tuesday it will halt its international flights starting March 20 as the countryā€™s main island is placed under enhanced quarantine measures.

The flag carrier started canceling all domestic flights on Tuesday after the government imposed a month-long quarantine in the capital and nearby provinces. Philippine Airlines said flights will resume flights on April 13.

Philippine Airlines Refund or Rebooking due to Coronavirus

Passengers in all domestic and international flights during the Enhanced Community Quarantine period imposed by the Philippine Government from March 15 to April 30, 2020 and passengers whose flights are affected by COVID-19 cancellations or are banned for travel (even if their flight is not cancelled) may avail of the following options:

  • Rebook or reroute once without penalties and without fare difference. The new travel date must be within November 30, 2020 or within ticket validity, whichever comes first.
  • Convert the unused value of their ticket to a voucher for future use

Travel Voucher Terms and Conditions:

  • The Voucher is valid one (1) year after date of issuance for travel up to 12 months.
  • The Voucher can be used to purchase new PAL tickets or Travel Extra/s (Prepaid Choice Seats and Prepaid Baggage only). A maximum of two (2) Vouchers can be used in a single transaction.
  • For domestic flights, Senior Citizen, PWD and Military discounts shall apply subject to the presentation of valid identification.
  • Passengers may top-up with cash or credit card to avail of tickets or Travel Extras with prices higher than the amount of the voucher. No change shall be given if the Voucher is exchanged for PAL tickets or Travel Extras less than its face value.
  • The Voucher is non-transferable and is convertible to cash.
