Flights I had booked in June for a family wedding in July were stopped due to Stobbart air removing their service. In order to ensure I was able to attend I booked flights with another provider and filled in the refund request form…that was on 16th June. I received confirmation of my request the same day but have heard nothing since and its now the 8th July. I have spent almost 6 hours waiting on the phone to no avail. Your Web site states bookings direct through aerlingus will be refunded in 7 days, some one please help me.
We are due to fly to US ( Manchester to Chicago via Dublin) on Tuesday, 3rd August but cannot do so as Britons are still not allowed into America. We have held on the phone to try to change the flight for an hour yesterday and for two hours today on the 0333 004 5000 number and tried to change it online and are becoming anxious at ever contacting anyone from Aer Lingus to make the changes before we are due to fly next week. Please could you advise what to do?
