Good afternoon, my name is Andrea Ambra and i bought three months ago for first time in my life a flight with air canada from San jose de Costarica to amsterdam via Toronto!…ac1807-2017 april 10
I had a flight this morning at 8:15 and when i arrived in airport i knew that i needed a ETA to transit to Canada, i couldn t make Eta in time and i lost the flight!
The air canada check-in employed told me i must received an email from air canada about it and yes i received the email but at 7pm the day before my flight early in the morning!
Maybe the air canada policy don t know that not all the country in the world are like Canada, in costarica sometimes have no connection internet specially in the rural places and not everytime you can check your email specially in the night when in the jungle of costarica everythings is closed and specially if the flight is early in the morning and your clients need to wake up at 3/4 am and need to go to sleep early the night before….so maybe should be better sent that email one week before or more…!!!
Nobody in the checkin desk helped me about my problem, everybody were busy with other clients and noone spent time for me and i lost the flight and a lot of money…and now i have to spent more money to buy a flight with a serious airline!
In a few days is easter and everybody want to stay with his family and i hope you can do that because this year i have easter with no my family!

Of course in the same time i will arrive in my country i will call my lawer to solve this problem!
