Air France Hand Baggage Allowance
Hand baggage allowance and weight restrictions on Air France depends on the cabin which you are travelling. For,
- Economy cabin: 1 hand baggage and 1 personal item.
- Premium Economy, Business, or La Première cabin: 2 hand baggage items and 1 personal item.
- Maximum hand baggage dimensions: 55 x 35 x 25 cm/21.6 x 13.7 x 9.8 in. (including pockets, wheels, and handles).
- Personal Item dimensions: Not exceeds 40 x 30 x 15 cm/15.7 x 11.8 x 5.8 in.
Weight for hand baggage:
- For Economy cabin: Must not exceeds of 12 kg/26.4 lb with hand baggage and personal item.
- For Premium Economy, Business or La Première cabins: Must not exceeds 18 kg/40 lb with hand baggage and accessories.
Allowed Personal Items: 1 bag (or) satchel (or) or 1 bag for your computer, camera (or) any other electronic device.
Items allowed to cabin: You can carry liquids, pastes and creams in the cabin. Each containers must be placed in a transparent and closed plastic bag. No restrictions for baby food, medication, etc. on the board.
- Container doesnot exceed 100 ml / 3.4 oz.
- Plastic bag cannot exceed 1 liter and bigger than 20 x 20 cm/7.8 x 7.8 in.
Air France Checked Baggage Allowance
Economy cabin – 0 to 2 checked bags up to 23 kg/50 lb. each.
Premium Economy cabin – 2 checked bags up to 23 kg/50 lb each.
Business cabin – 2 checked baggage items up to 32 kg/70 lb each.
La Première cabin – 3 checked bags up to 32 kg/70 lb each.
- If you are a Flying Blue Silver, Gold or Platinum, or SkyTeam Elite or Elite Plus member, you can take one additional checked bag at no extra charge. (1 bag weighs up to 10 kg/22 lb, a stroller or backpack-type infant carrier, a car seat)
Air France Excess Baggage Allowance
You can travel with one or more extra bags on Additional Baggage Option by purchasing at least 24 hours before your flight’s departure with discounted rate!* (* Except for the 1st bag on flights booked with a Light fare between Europe and North America.)
For Oversized baggage: Bag with dimensions that exceed 158 cm/62.2 in (height + length + width), so long as it does not go over 300 cm/118 in. The price of Oversized Baggage Option must be paid at the airport.
For Overweight Baggage: You can travel with a bag does not exceed 32 kg. The price of Overweight Baggage option must be paid for at the airport.
