My wife and I are Flying Blue members and we often fly to Malaga from Toronto, leaving on March 31st and returning on May 1st. Because of knee problems we usually book seats with extra legroom. We started booking our flight for 2020 online but when we got to the step for choosing seats we found that many of the seats had been blocked off; we were particularly anxious to book either seats 18A and B or seats 18K and L.
We deliberately chose to book very early so that we could get the seats we wanted. Why are some seats blocked off and when will they come available for booking?

We are writing you at this time regarding the refund of our vouchers unused after one year.
We have both applied for a refund on 02.05 2021.
We have received so far only 1009.89 CAD. The cost of one ticket has been 1067.30 CAD.
We would like to point out that at the time when the vouchers were issued it is clearly mentioned a refund will be granted after one year if they are not used.
