Hello, I am Dr. Fatimah Murtazha Adeyemi with flight PNR JZ61C. I travelled with air india today on flight 91561 (PNQ 16) from Hyderabad to Pune. I was forced to check in my hand luggage which was within accepted carry-on luggage weight of 7kg despite me insisting I wanted to take it with me on air.
On arrival at Pune airport, I found out that my hand-luggage handle has been cleanly cut and damaged. The cut is very clean showing an intentional action cut off the handle. Why this was done is still a mystery.
I immediately reported to the Air-Iindia officials on site, they replied it was normal. This was bizarre to me so i requested to be taken to Air- India office. I was shocked, to informed same thing and asked to email without any action been taken.
I use this medium to lodge a formal complaint as I am using Air India for the first time and I am highly disappointed. My contact number is 7331102136.

My wife and I left by Air India flight to Bahrain via Delhi at around 4 pm on 29 June 2023. My wife needed assistance as she had a broken leg. We are elderly couple 93 and 87 years old. I was pleasantly surprised that the AI staff particularly the security and check in in, were very helpful. I particularly thank your chief security officer Mr Sathe and his team for ‘bending over backwards’ to help my wife and they saw that she had safely boarded the Delhi flight. I understood Mr Sathe was due to retire the following day. I want to express my gratitude this gentleman for all his assistance and helping the elderly and frail passengers, I am sure he is a beacon and other young officers in security department will emulate his example.
I wish him happy retirement. God bless him. In case you could send his phone number to congratulate him personally on our return.
