A mandatory RT PCR test is required for the passengers coming from China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, Thailand and Japan from January 2023. Test must be taken 72 hours prior to the departure.

What is Air Suvidha?

Air Suvidha is a contact-less and convenient online portal developed for international passengers traveling to India where the passengers must fill the Self Declaration / Reporting form and the Exemption form if applicable. Air Suvidha declaration form is mandatory for all the passengers who are arriving to India.

How to fill Air Suvidha Self Declaration / Self Reporting Form?

Note: All the international passengers must have RT-PCR negative certificate to upload to fill the Self Declaration Form / Self Reporting Form. Take the COVID-19 RT-PCR test 72 hours prior to the departure.

For above 12 years of age, all the passengers travelling to India must fill the Air Suvidha form and keep the print out. You have to show at the Airport immigration counter while arriving at the airport.

  1. Download and fill the form here
  2. Enter the passenger name, seat number, passport number, nationality, age, Arrival date, Place of origin and destination
  3. Enter the contact details in India (Address, phone number, Email)
  4. Enter where you have visited in the last 14 days
  5. Fill Yes / No if you have the following symptoms: Fever, Cough, Respiratory distress
  6. Sign the paper

1. Visit https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration

2.Ā If you have exemption request number received from the filled exemption form, enter the request number.

3.Ā Enter the contact phone number, passport number, flight number, PNR number.

4.Ā Once entered all the above details, click next to proceed.

5.Ā In the next screen you will be asked to fill name, date of birth, gender, flight number, seat number, nationality, Date of arrival, country of origin and departure, first airport of entry, your destination residential details (full address, pin code)

6.Ā If you have any connecting domestic flight, declare it

7.Ā If you have any symptoms such as Fever / cough / cold: declare it

8.Ā If you are suffering from Diabetes / Hypertension / Bronchial Asthma / Under Immunosuppresive Therapy / Post Transplant Patients: declare it

9.Ā Enter the last visited cities / countries in the last 14 days

10.Ā Enter the number of passengers traveling

11.Ā You need to upload your passport copy, RT-PCR negative test certificate

12. Once declared all the details, agree for the terms and conditions and click ‘Submit’.

13. Once submitted, the details will be sent to the health authority for the verification.

14. Finally, an email will be received for the confirmation.

Who is in exempted category in Air Suvidha?

For the passengers who fit into an Air Suvidha exemption category such as Pregnant, COVID-19 negative certificate, death in the family, a parent traveling with kids below 10 years old must

  1. Fill the required form
  2. Select the applicable exemption category
  3. Self reporting forms will be sent to APHO under MOHF
  4. If not, undergo institutional quarantine

2. If you have Self request number received from the filled self declaration form, enter the request number.

3.Ā Enter the contact phone number, passport number, flight number, PNR number.

4.Ā Once entered all the above details, click next to proceed.

5. In the next screen you will be asked to fill name, date of birth, gender, flight number, seat number, nationality, Date of arrival, country of origin and departure, first airport of entry, your destination residential details (full address, pin code).

7. You need to upload your passport copy,Ā  Supporting documents if any.

8. Passengers must undergo institutional quarantine (self paid) if they do not have valid RT-PCR test result.

Passengers can apply online to seek exemption fromĀ mandatory Institution Quarantine under five categories

Documents required to submit for the Air Suvidha exemption form:

Passengers fall on the exempted category must provide the supporting documents. Please check the below list:

  • Pregnant woman must provide the valid recommendation letter from the doctor.
  • Parent’s accompanied by children under 10 years old must provide the passport copy
  • Serious illness if any: must attach the medical certificate
  • Death if any: Attach death/doctor certificate; Family as defined by the Indian Government consists of Spouse, Children, Sibling, Parents & Grandparents only
  • Attach RT-PCR negative report or a copy of RT-PCR tests where results are awaited

*Once submitted all the details and the necessary documents, you will obtain the green signal in Air Suvidha. If the passenger fails to upload any document or RT-PCR test negative certificate, they may obtain a red signal in Air Suvidha
