Dear Koran team,a couple weeks ago I was getting a work proposal from the Korean airlines for a place in a main kitchen as Executive Chef, on the beginning in was very happy to get this opportunity to living in Korea, I accept and this company please me to send my Cv and some pictures about my work and I did, after a couple days they send me a mail and gratulated me for the new job…..finally i was the best from all over, but i know my job very well and I know that even if i really get the job e doesn’t work like that, e was no Skype interview….e was to easy and I feel that something is wrong and i go forward to see clearly, after they ask me some paper like always , that the company will pay for my ticket, my flat, food, transport but I should pay for my work permit self and this was the only wrong thing in all situation, how could be possible that a company like Korean Airlines pay all for me but not my visa, usually the company is my sponsor and sponsor pay for anything! But e say to contact a agency and send all papers and pay for the work permit to them, for me they are just some criminal that try to steal my money, now I’m send in your this mail in the hope that you gonna find out who are this criminal that try to stealing money to honest people with your company name..? If you wanna know it e will be a pleasure to give you all mails and details about them, best thanks Silvana Lombardo

    Dear Korean Air Executive Office,

Filed a complaint with Korean Air Customer service, for 3 hour delay on a Layover in Seoul connecting from Tel Avi to Ulan Battar on July 2, and a 6 hour delay in Seoul AIrport, sitting for 6 hours in a locked airplane in the middle of the Tarmac and have not received any response.

Please send email address for executive escalation process for this severe case of customer service and flyer’s Rights abuse by Korean Air corporation.

Impossible to deal with your customer service. Our trip was cancelled because another airline cancelled a flight so we could not make connecting Korean Air flight, and rebooking was impossible for 2 weeks. Korean Air reimbursed part of the ticket fee (purchased with miles), but not all. The other airlines reimbursed all fees. Have been trying to at least get an explanation from Korean Air, but just getting run around. Impossible to leave message on website without Skypass membership and no useful mailing address. Really pissed off at Korean Airlines.

I am the mother of a passenger on KE 0624 last night from Manila on the way to Wdashington DC. Her flight was delayed for 6. 1/2 hours and she missed her connecting flight on KE093. We are all very distressed about this because she will be missing her first day of class in Georgetown on Jan. 10 where she is supposed to make her presentation. She may end having to repeat the course because of this. These are the issues about the service.
    1. We were not forewarned about the delay. We get to the airport at 9pm to be told that the flight is delayed up to 5:30. We asked the counter what happens if she misses her connecting flight to D.C., they said there is a 7:30 pm flight. So, she decides to stay on and check in, not sleeping the whole time.
    2. The flight eventually left at 6:30 pm while her flight to Dulles was at 10:25. She had a boarding pass.
Their plane arrives at 10:46 but flight tracker website had her connecting KE093 was still in Gate 15 right beside her arrival gate of 14. The flight left at 11:20, per flight tracker. In other words, she could have made the connection but was not allowed to.
Now she is in a hotel in Seoul, the Holiday Inn waiting for a flight tomorrow with no assurance of a confirmed booking and her luggage is somewhere God knows where. Why was she allowed to board if chances of connecting were slim? It is unacceptable. Now she misses her class and presentation. No explanation was given on the delay of the flight from Manila. We reserve the right o pursue legal action.
