A failed attempt at purchasing Virgin Blue was the final straw, and on 12 September, out of both time and cash, Air New Zealand placed Ansett Australia into voluntary administration, following which Ansett was forced to cease operations.

Kia ora,
I wanted to say a huge Thank you to a member of staff at Auckland airport at the Korean Air check in desk on the 30th July 2021 round 17.30. Flight KE130.
I had a initial issue with my PCR test as I was unable to print it as it was password protected, a gentleman had organised for this member of staff to print, I believe her name was Louisa. So after that was sorted I hadn’t realised that the passenger locator form to enter the UK had not been completed.. I thought I had anyway this led to a huge amount of stress on my part as the form was not altogether straight forward and to be honest I was not getting any happier trying to figure this form out. Louisa came and she was so calm and nothing was to much trouble to figure out, honestly she was an angel and I really would have lost the plot if she hadn’t helped me.
You really do have a star with her and please could you say thank you to her again for me.
