    Dear madam, sir
I was travelling from Frankfurt airport with my kids on Wednesday 14 July to Cairo tirminal 2 . Unfortunately the woman which is responsible in making the check in was not totally good with us . She is treating us like slaves I donā€™t how airlines like Lufthansa can accept people like that. It was 19 oā€™clock 14 July in Frankfurt airport terminal 2 ( family check in ) she was in the left side If plan work.

I hope if you are not responsible to this woman you could give me some information about the administration which is responsible.

    Dear Sir/Madam

My daughter (19 year old and not vaccinated yet) is a UK citizen, with a UK passport, living in England and currently visiting me in Egypt. Her UK passport expires end of next September.
She is planning to go to Ireland (Not a Schengen State but EU State) from Egypt via Frankfurt airport (Transit around 2 hrs) early August with Lufthansa.
    1. Does her passport validly of about 6 weeks cause a problem for transit in Frankfurt on her way to Ireland?
    2. Does she need a transit visa? If so, what are the procedure and how long does it take.

I have read the regulations carefully. However, did not find any passport regulation (passport validity) for transit in Frankfurt for UK citizens. I have also checked with the Embassy of Ireland, and understand that British Citizens are allowed to enter Ireland with no restriction regarding passport validity.

I have also contacted the consulate in Cairo, and was asked to ask the airline.

    Thank you in advance
    Prof Aly Eldarwish
