Good morning,
Request for cancellation and refund of an error reservation Qantas Airways OGG7KM for my family of 5 persons planned for next summer and confirmed for this Friday 25th Jan. We will be unable to show-up fort his flight and therefor needs to be cancelled.
All my attempts to cancel or change this reservation have failed so far and therefor I’m totally desperate not knowing what I can do further. I booked in the meantime two other flights with Qantas successfully.
I booked last Sunday 21st January through a travel agent E-Dreams an internal flight in Australia from Cairns to Darwin for 5 persons for next summer holiday but forgot to input (modify) the departure date, which I only noticed when I received the confirmation of having paid 1.027,75 Euros. The confirmation was made for Friday 25th January. I wanted it to be on Monday 5th August.
I immediately called the Travel Agent E-Dreams but they said that this has to be asked to Qantas Airways. When I spoke to Qantas Airways Customer Service Office in Belgium + 32 2700 6781 the next day on Monday morning after having waited 1 hour on the phone (total phone call time 1h20) they told me that they will try to speak to the Travel Agent. Since then I have no further news. In the meantime I booked and paid other Qantas Airways flights one to Alice Springs on 9th August and another on 13th August to Sydney resp. reservation numbers S63YVI and RYTABJ for € 1.107,5, and € 1.241,63 = € 2.350.
Thanks very much in advance for your help cancelling and refunding me this error reservation. It would be ashame to have spend + 1000 Euros for nothing since nobody seems able or prepared to help me.
