Travel during pregnancy in Saudi Arabian Airlines

Pregnancy rules in Saudi Arabian Airlines:

  • Expectant mothers can travel in Saudi Arabian Airlines till 32nd week of the Single pregnancy and multiple pregnancy.
  • Between 32 weeks to 36 weeks, a medical certificate is required to travel which stated that you are fit to travel from your doctor or midwife.
  • Medical clearance will be required if:Child birth is expected in less than 4 weeks.Uncertainty exists over the progress of the pregnancy and the date of delivery.There were previous multiple births childbirth complications are expected.The medical certificate must be issued within 7 days of the flight date.
  • At 36 weeks of pregnancy you will not be accepted to travel.

    I flown with my husband KHI-MED on 23 MARCH-17, this flight was delayed almost 4hrs at Riyadh Airport , i need to submit claim form of our travel insurance and for that i need a written report from Airline.
    For that have contacted at your airport office at 99071525 spoke to Mr Najam , he said this is cargo office number so I have to contact airport manager at 99071537 , than I spoke to Mr Amir Azim and he told me that station manager is nothing to do with this delay , than I asked him to provide any contact or email of Riyadh airport , so he refused and said he is not allowed to provide these details, at the end he told me to contact operation department at 99071296 , where i spoke to Mr Farhan and unfortunately he is also failed me to provide anything.
    I am also working with Cathay Pacific Airways ,since 2001, and before that with Singapore Airlines since 1988-2001, i knew very well how to communicate with passengers and how to solve their problems, not to create a confusion. i would be highly appreciate if you can seriously take this matter and keep me update accordingly.

      I travelled from jeddah to khi with my wife on 20th june 2019. My wife was in business class but her ticket was demoted to economy class and i was informed that im going 2 receive sms as soon as i reached khi 2 claim my refund, but so far i have
      not received any sms or call. Plz let me know wat i have 2 do

        I m Doctor working in Dammam. on re entry visa at karachi my ticket for 17th mar cancelled, so visited clifton office got email and phone no to contact for re issue ticket for Dammam .
        prevoiusly a week back on 3rd mar 2021 i visited your clifton office but service office assured my ticket
        confirmed for 17th mar 2021 but yesterdy it has cancelled
        So emailed to slssupgrpkhi@saudia.com and phoned to no 021 35147709,07,12 but no response gained.
        So kindly requested to update my re issue ticket for
        Dammam frm Karachi via Riyadh as soon.

    I tried contacting Reservation Office. The number given on the Web Site is ‘not listed’ according to PTCL voice recording.

    Tried UAN number. No response , not even from a machine. 13:30 Hrs today.

    I would like to travel to Cairo ( R/T) with Saudia. Is there any possibility of a break-journey for 24 or 48 hours in Jeddah so that I can perform umra.

    I have been travelling by Saudia Airlines since 1982. I have always found it very comfortable, accomodating and helpful. I have flown on small flights as well as long flights, as far as United States and never had complains. The pilots and crew are experienced and keep a place and reputation among other world class airlines.
    I am planning to travel on Saudia flight to Kazakhstan sometimes in future, God willing.

    It is to inform that the undersigned travel alongwith my spouse from Toronto, Canada to Lahore, Pakistan in Saudi Airlines (SV 61) on 28.10.2017, vide tickets No.0651293192163 & 0651293192164. At the time of departure from Toronto, Canada Airport I booked four (04) bags, but unfortunately, when I reached at Lahore, Pakistan Airport, I was astonished to hear that my one (01) bag (Samsonite ā€“ Grey colour) has been misplaced.
    The undersigned immediately lodged a complaint bearing File Reference No.LHESV 21738 at the Saudi Airlines Complaint Center.
    It is submitted that while filling the baggage claim form, it has been noticed that there I have to upload vouchers / receipts of the items in my bag.
    It is pertinent to mention that I was on a pleasure trip to meet my family members at Canada and most of the items in that bag are gifts which were given by our family members, therefore, I have no vouchers / receipts.
    Keeping in view the above narration, it is requested that immediate action may please be taken for retrieval of my lost bag.
    I shall be grateful for this act of kindness.

    HI,

    My baggage the damaged when I received travelled on SV704 from my way back to Saudia. I launched the complaint on the airport and filled my complaint. The concerned person took the action and then gave me the case number with information which I need to email/record online.

    I followed the action and it took almost around 3 weeks to process but today I finally got the claimed money for the damage bag in my account.

    I thank the concerned people and the company to compensate for my damage.

    I have tried all the numbers given here and failed to get connected. Message I receive is “the number you have dialed in not listed, please try the helpline” calling the helpline begins and continues with a pre-recorded message which isn’t any help at all.

    Worst ticket reservation helpline.Staff are rude and unhelpful,they even dint know the proper detail about the product and packages.when i call on 021111747300 karachi pakistan helpline no the staff is bussy in talking with someone else on ph and guide him that i am sending mr fahad gulzar to your hospital please take care of him and after 5 minute he answer me without any apology.
    Please take strict action and improve your customer service.

    I Sadaf Adnan travelled on Saudia airline SV 3704 July 31st. One of my suitcases is missing I filed a report but am extremely unhappy with the service as I didnā€™t receive any calls from the concerned office. Twice I called them myself and on both occasions was told that they would get back to me but so far I havenā€™t heard anything. This highly irresponsible behaviour is distressing. I need to know immediately my baggage ā€˜s status. The no. I was given is not responding.

    Please inform and clearify us recent notification due to corona disease for travelling from Karachi to Jeddeh and Saudia, particularly for those who are travelling with first time/Fresh Ų§Ł‚Ų§Ł…Ū aqama visa. Only send us back from Karachi Air port by saying due to Saudian notification your first/fresh aqma visa Ų§Ł‚Ų§Ł…Ū is not allowed. At least we should have any evidence or pre-informed through that we could return our ticket.

    Dear Admin.
    I recieved call on my husband phone number about flight schedules. But our visa are pending for job in saudia arabia.
    And agent of saudia airline said that they will help in visa issue fastly which i dont trust and i said to the representative MR. USMAN that we need no help in this regard of fast visa issue as its under embassy work and our agent of recruitment company will work for it. And if we need tickets after our visa will isuue whenever by our recruitment agent we will contact saudia airline for tickets.
    After this conversation Mr. USMAN said that this is not right thing and i was helping in visa issue from embassy and he was giving people number to us to whom i rejected as i need all proper way for visa issue by embassy.
    I want to register complaint for this issue that in future i need help from govt. Of pakistan and saudia airline that no body should interfere in my husband and my work permit visa issuance. As i trust no body else except proper way of pakistan embassy.

    Hi,
    I need to submit a complaint about the refund charges for the segment khi-Riyadh-Med.
    Due to severe injuries, I could not travel on my date. I have cancelled my ticket and submitted a medical certificate even though I have been charged more than a 400 SAR cancellation fee. My travel agent informed me that they couldn’t do anything SA are also charging EB & YR taxes per ticket upon cancellation.
    Can someone please elaborate on what kind of taxes they are and why they are not mentioned in the airline cancellation policy.?
    I would appreciate it if someone could share the finance or regional manager’s email of the Saudi airline in Karachi.
