    Reference Flight Bookings – 6LBYXB Raymond Bird and Alison Bird and WS9960 Barbara Scott.
    Currently we are on Scenic River Cruise which will conclude in Amsterdam on 18 October 2017.
    On our flight from Singapore to Frankfurt on 30 September the departure was delayed with us already onboard for over 2 hours resulting in us missing our connecting flight to Prague. No immediate flights were scheduled and the earliest departure was on Czech Airlines at 1950 that evening meaning we arrived in Prague some 12 hours later than planned.
    This meant that we missed a full day of planned sightseeing.This was to be a long awaited holiday and we are really disappointed, greatly inconvenienced and feel thoroughly let down through no fault of our own. As a frequent airline traveller we rate this as one of worst travel experiences. A check with your flight staff and passengers will confirm that there was no communication regarding the reason for the delay nor any indication as to how our flight connections would be satisfied. It was a most unsatisfactory situation.
    As a gesture of goodwill we are seeking your assistance to consider upgrading our seating on the sector Amsterdam to Singapore on 18 October Flight SQ0323. We would be most grateful for this consideration.
