Where and how to complain air travel related or consumer queries?
If you have complaint against the airline or airport, first try to contact the authorised person in the airline or airport and speak with them to resolve your problem. If the problem is not resolved from the airline or airport authority, you can contact your country’s civil aviation authority.

You can also contact IATA to raise a complaint against airline or airport. View the list of IATA offices here
Procedure to contact the aviation authority
If your not satisfied with your complaint or if the airline or airport cannot resolve your problem, please follow the below procedure to contact the aviation authority.
- Write your problem in detail such as your complaint details, date and time and send them through post or email.
- Please address whom you are complaining about whether it is the airline authorized person or the travel agent or tour operators or airport department.
- For claiming a refund from your airline and you need compensation, attach ticket or receipts copy. Also mention how much your compensation amount.
- Mention the date and time when you have raised a complaint to your airline/airport/travel agent.
- Once your complaint is received, you will be contacted by the authorized person from the aviation authority..
