Why airline is asking for routine COVID testing for boarding the flight or entering into the airport / any country 1

Why routine COVID testing is necessary for safe travel?

We know one thing for certain; the COVID-19 epidemic can be contained by everyone in the world.
SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes coronavirus disease, or COVID-19) can infect us, but we can also prevent it from spreading to those we care about by following simple public health recommendations like wearing a mask and washing your hands. We can also keep our distance from one another and avoid large indoor gatherings. More people being tested are another way to help.
Even if a person does not show symptoms of SARS-CoV-2, they can still be tested to see if they are at risk of passing the virus on to others and if they pose a threat to others by transmitting the disease. Preventing the spread of infection is the best technique for returning to work and school safely.

Reason for routine covid testing:

1. SARS-CoV-2 testing should be carried out on all people, including those who have no symptoms, those who show indications of infection, and those who may have been exposed to the virus.
2. By isolating themselves as soon as they learn they have the disease, patients can lessen the likelihood that they will spread it to others and can start receiving treatment sooner, lessening the severity of their condition and the likelihood of long-term disability or death.
3. Even if you get the all-clear with a negative test, you could still become contagious in the future. You should still wash your hands often, keep a safe distance from people, and wear a face mask even if your test results come back negative. As the pandemic progresses, identifying infected persons as early as possible, as well as those who remain asymptomatic is critical.
4. A positive SARS-CoV-2 test informs an infected individual. In addition to being able to receive treatment more quickly, they can also take action to reduce the spread of the virus. As a result, it’s critical to receive the test results back as promptly as possible, preferably within a few hours or less.
5. There are a few important workers in these towns, who cannot work from home, which increases their risk of exposure to the virus.
6. Overhead inlets bring air into the cabin, which is then channeled toward floor-level outlets. At the same row or nearby rows, the air is brought into and expelled from the cabin. Because the wind between rows is so minimal, respiratory particles are less likely to be dispersed.
7. as much as is practical, passengers should be kept apart while flying. Decrease interaction by altering the way food and drink are served.
8. Limiting crew members’ exposure to infection and facilitating contact tracing should a passenger become infected by limiting their access to aisles and restrooms.
