The carrier is set to become the worldās first air travel experience designed specifically for dogs. Bark Air Routes
BARK is focused on creating and delivering a world-class air travel experience for dogs and their people. New Domestic and International routes are planned throughout the summer.
New York – Los Angeles
- Runs from New York City metro area via Westchester County Airport (HPN) with flights to the Los Angeles area via Van Nuys (VNY) and London, England via Stansted Airport (STN).

How to book flights in Bark Air?
BARK Air currently offers one way and round trip flights between New York and LA as well as New York and London. in future, more routes will be added.
- Visit Flight Bookings.
- Select the from / to destination.
- Choose the month of travel.
- Select the no. of tickets.
- Enter the Dog’s name, breed, size, age & weight.
- Passenger name, email, DOB, address, Instagram (if necessary).
Bark Air Check-in
On the travel day, dogs and their people will arrive at the airport 45-minutes to an hour before the flight for a simple, efficient check-in process. A highly skilled BARK Air concierge will welcome all pups and help them settle in to their experience through socialization at the gate and dog-centric cabin preparation. Each dog ticket comes with a pass for one human. Additional passes are available for purchase.
How was the Cabin?
- The cabin prepared with calming aids such as: pheromone, music, warm lavender scented refreshment towels, and other comforts to help each dog feel settled.
- ‘Just in case’ bag filled with calming treats, leashes, poop bags will be provided at the gate.
- After boarding, dogs served their beverage of choice (water, bone broth, you name it)
- Yours dogs are ensured before & after any ear discomfort commonly caused by the change in cabin pressure.
- Additionally, a variety of BARK-branded treats, snacks, and surprises will be served throughout the flight experience.
Serves all humans chef-prepared meals at the airport. Breakfast only applies to London route. There are designated relief areas outside of each plane for you to mark one last time before you soar through the clouds. If you have an accident on board, trained professionals clean it up.
Documents Required for Travelers & pets
- Person need to have, valid identification state-issued ID or passports.
- Vaccination records required for Dogs.
Which size dogs allowed to travel?
- Dogs of all sizes and breeds welcomed.
- VIPs (Very Important Pups): Oversized dogs, snub nose dogs, and all the other dogs have never had an opportunity to fly.
How many dogs and person allowed on flight?
- 15 dogs and their humans, but the tickets was sell for 10 only. This will ensure that you and your person have ample room to splay.
What can you bring on board?
- Bark Air gives plenty of beds, blankets, toys, and treats on board.
- If you want any special things, you may bring one blanket that smells like cheese.
- Note: No clap when the pilot lands the plane.
What about leashes?
- Dogs must remain on leash while the plane is taxiing, taking off, landing, or if any turbulence expected.
Is there ground transportation provided, after landing?
- Yes, BARK Air provide dog-friendly car service within a 30-mile radius.
Can I get an additional ticket for a Person?
- Each ticket purchased is for a dog and comes with a complimentary pass for 1 human.
- Limited amount of additional human tickets for an additional cost.

1. Did children allowed to fly?
- Bark Air do not allow humans under the age of 126 (18 human years).
2. Is there any separate seating areas for large and small dogs?
- No.
3. Who’re not allowed on board in Bark Air?
- Cats, squirrels or mailmen.
4. Are carriers or crates required?
- For Persons: Needed
- For dogs: Definitely not.
- Youāll be able to sit on laps, seats, beds, or wherever youāre comfortable.
5. Will BARK Air require any training for dogs prior to flying?
- Flying BARK Air is similar to hanging in a dog park, a dog-friendly cafe, or a friendās house. The dog should stick together with you and socialize.
- The layout of Bark planes ensures that if you need some alone time, youāll have it.
- The airline will create a seating arrangement that is optimal for all dogs and humans.
