      Hello!
      I want to get refund for unused airtickets for 3 passengers on China Eastern airline flight #MU711 from Beiging to Sydney (reference #PGDE8G) on 22nd Nov 2018. We started our journey from Almaty, Kazakhstan on flight by Hainan Airlines #HU 7934 on 21st Nov 2018.
      Having received recommendation from Hainan ailine representative to use above flights I bought one-way tickets. When we arrived to Beiging we were refused by airport immigration to continue our journey on China Eastern airline flight #MU711 from Beiging to Sydney (reference #PGDE8G) on 22nd Nov 2018. I do not see this as our fault as I intentionally approached Hainan Airlines representative in person. I was assured that transit via Beiging for me and my family members would not have any problems in terms of visa. Kazakhstan citizen do not require visa if they stay in Beigning less than 24 hours. This was the case. So I want my refund. And how much refund is it?

      My wife flew on flight MU562 from Sydney to Shanghai on August 7, 2019. The day before the flight I processed online check-in but failed to print the boarding pass as I didn’t have a printer. When we reached the airport we informed a young lady from your staff that we had already checked in online and just needed to drop the luggage and get the boarding pass. That young lady of Chinese ethnicity said her name was Katherina, something we couldn’t verify since she was wearing her ID badge with the front side facing her body, spoke to us in a very arrogant and rude manner indicating that she didn’t actually believe we had already checked in online, as if she was a police officer doubting the testimony of a person of interest and abusing his/her authority. My wife and and I, respectively 57 and 58, felt totally disrespected by her treatment. Maybe she needs a crash course in customer care.

      tried calling to make an enquiry but message says number disconnected, have booked flight with QANTAS, perhaps they could provide courses in how not to run an airline!

      My name is Zi Min Liu and I lived in 8 Yoorana Place, Castle Hill, Sydney.
      On 16 October, I caught MU736 to Shanghai than changed MU523 to Tokyo. I found my luggage has been damaged at Narita airport. I was spoken to the airport staff but they said that I should talk to China Eastern Airline. I have come back to Sydney home on 1st Nov and I sent an email attached 7 photos to China Eastern Airline Customer Service but unfortunately I haven’t got reply so far. I have no idea which department should I talk to?

      Good morning,

      My son has tried to contact your Sydney office regarding his airline ticket many times without success.

      He was obliged to change his ticket date from February 6th to February 18th. What is unbelievable is that your company changed him over AU$700.00 to change the date.

      Reading previous news articles about the Corona virus, I believe he should not have been charged at all. Even the ticket mentions a charge of US$114.00 to effect a ticket change.

      He will be following this up with Australian Consumer Affairs in light of your ridiculous charge.

      Because he can no longer return to China for the forseeable future I believe his ticket be refunded as well as the overcharge for the change in dates.
