I left Montevideo on September 5th, while going through security they kept 3 torch tips and 1 tape measure. Victoria from departures told me when I came back I could pick them up from her. upon my return date of October 6th the Copa departure area was closed due to the early morning flight I had. I am trying to use the Call Center from Montevideo, Uruguay as I need to check my check in for my flight (AJM0FN, or United I58FGX) with a travel specialist and cannot do it online. Mission impossible. Is there a physical COPA office in Montevideo? Is a “chat” or other method a possibility? I am sorry to say, the call center is not a fail safe method and in this case it is leaving me in limbo. Will try again, but when you are abroad, this should not happen and has not happened to me with other airlines.
