    Buenas tardes, tengo reservado un vuelo para el dia 4 de marzo desde tampa hasta colombia con escala en panama y necesito saber cuantas maletas estan incluidas, es decir cuantas maletas y de que peso o dimensiones puedo llevar sin costo y que precio tiene el kilo de peso adicional o como cobran el exceso de equipaje, es q lei las politicas de equipaje pero no me queda claro el tema pprfavor agradezco su atencion.

    Dear COPA Airlines,

    I must cancel my flights with confirmation #C42WPM leaving Tampa today March 11, 2020. (TPA-PTY-CTG and return BAQ-PTY-TPA)

    The international sea turtle symposium I was to attend in Cartagena has been cancelled because of the corona virus and rescheduled for February 2021. Just after noon today, I called the COPA office (1-800-359-2672) and spoke with Camilo. I requested a credit through February 2021.

    Camilo said my ticket would be held open through November 22, 2020 BUT that I would be charged a change fee of $300 plus additional fees. Unlike some other airlines, COPA is offering no accommodation to people like me who made reservations months ago when, of course, we did not anticipate a worldwide health crisis.

    Officials are advising people against unnecessary travel. Doing so in my case would be selfish and perhaps even endanger others.

    COPA’s policy seems unreasonable offering flexibility only to people who made reservations after March 5th and were/are undoubtedly aware of the crisis. I am very disappointed in COPA.

    I told Camilo that I would not be on the plane today. He said I would be recorded as a no show.

    Perhaps Expedia with whom I ordered my tickets will be able to secure an actual credit for me so I can plan my February 2021 trip.
