Delta will cease operations on TLV flights through March 29, 2024, and will continue to assess the local security situation

Amidst the continuous turmoil in the region, Delta has decided to cancel additional flights between the United States and Tel Aviv.

In order to notify passengers of any changes to our flight schedule to and from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv (TLV), Delta continually monitors the security situation in Israel. As our employees search for secure substitutes for clients, our thoughts are with everyone who is affected.

Cancellation of flights

Up until March 29, 2024, Delta flights between TLV and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York will remain canceled. These flights’ sales are halted. Bookings for TLV flights to and from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) were suspended by Delta in October, and the suspension of those services has persisted.

Customers will receive reminders via the Fly Delta app and the contact details provided in their reservation once cancellations are handled. When available, seats on partner airlines of Delta are still bookable on delta.com and through Delta Reservations.

Ongoing assessment

Delta constantly keeps an eye on the quickly changing security landscape and evaluates our operations using intelligence reports and security guidelines, such as the most recent travel advice from the US State Department.

Travel waiver and Refund policy

Customers who booked travel before October 11, 2023, to or from TLV are still eligible to rebook on available flights through September 6, 2024, according to Delta’s ongoing travel waiver program. Customers who are affected by the waiver and would like to cancel their trip can also obtain refunds through the Fly Delta app, delta.com, or by phoning Delta Reservations for assistance with refunds.
