    Dear Management,
    As a traveller to UK , I am thinking of trying Ethiopian Airlines . I have, however, searched online for reports and reviews about the airline and Bole Airport. I am surprised to read so may negative and bad reviews and experiences of other travellers , at Bole Airport. it seems that the facilities and services , (toilets, food 7 drink, security etc etc ) are so bad that people warn us ..”Do not go through this airport” ..or …”this is the worst airport they have been through”
    With Ethiopian becoming such a busy and worldwide airline, why is the national airport so bad ? Surely, some of the basic needs & requirements should be easy to provide for all international travellers ? Please check on Google for the following website, where you can , yourselves, read all the reports of the poor service at Bolo. Why are the standards so poor and why are they not being immediately improved ? Go to Addis Ababa Airport Customer reviews / SKYTRAX …..OR airlinequality.com/airport-reviews/addis-ababa with Google and read the reports.
    I look forward to your response and hope to receive guarantees that standards at Bolo Airport have been , and are being upgraded to match most other main international airports.

    Dear Ethiopian Airlines
    I recently returned to
    Tororont from Capetown via ethiopia , london on a flight no ET846on 4 dec17 , ET 700 on 5 dec 17 AC857 respectively, which arrived (05/12/17) at around 4pm at pearson international airport. My luggage, which was supposed to be checked all the way through to my final destination, baggage tag No. ET 193386 has apparently been completely miss-placed or possibly off loaded . The ground staff at the pearson airport lost luggage counter, where I spoke with informed me that they would be in touch within (24) hours to inform me of where and when my luggage would be tracked down and arriving. It has been 3 days now; I have called air canada numerous times since my arrival and they has absolutely no information for me as to the whereabouts of my luggage! I find it completely unprofessional how in our world today with the security and technology available to you as a large airline can completely miss-place baggage. I hope that the bag will be located and sent back but should it never turn up and be reported missing indefinitely, I believe that I am entitled to some form of compensation from the airline.     Iā€™ve tried several times calling the Cape Town office about my flight back to the US on the 18th March.. my flight here was a nightmare and was delayed over night in Ethiopia. I have concerns about my flight back because of the 30min tight connection and I will not be held up overnight again because your airline delays flights and inconveniences me!!! Please can someone contact me to straighten this out or schedule another flight if that is the only remedy available.

    Hello I cannot contact any Ethiopean office, with a request as to how I can pre arrange a wheelchair assistance at the airports. I have had a knee replacement and cant walk so far. Please advise as to how I go about this. I am travelling with my sister !lucinda Jane Powers from Cape Town to Rome on March 27th. On flights ET 846 to ADD and flight ET712 to Rome. Please advise.     No answer at any of the numbers for your Cape Town office. Appalling service for “The best airline in Africa”. I’m trying to reach someone because your airline lost my luggage on a flight from Cape Town to Paris. My bag was returned to me one week later. I was promised an incidental payment by the following persons: Mr Negash Asegahgn (London), Mr Nebiat Hailemichael and Mr Chandru. My subsequent follow-up emails to the above gentlemen go unanswered. I had to buy warm clothing in London (since I was travelling from a summer to a winter region and had no luggage in London). The very least you can do is to fulfill your promises to give me $75 for the inconvenience you caused.

    This is the worst ever Airlines I’ve worked with.
    The below information I got on the system for my BOSS “Jasmine Martin” to have arrived as per the flight details below at 17:40 pm and then she phones me to say I’m at CPT Airport and no one to pick me up. And this call I received from her at 14:30 pm on the 6th June 2018. And all of this after I’ve made contact with the Airlines early the morning to verify exactly on what Flight Arrival she will be arriving in Cpt and being confirmed the time as per the flight schedule as seen below. Also with a few other passengers who’s families were notified that they will only arrive the evening.
    Tell me how can an International Airlines mess up like this. This is pathetic.

      Ethiopian Airlines is the worst when traveling to Dublin even when you have all documents needed, especially coming from South Africa. Had the worst experience during festive season and couldn’t board the plane, till today I am waiting for answers.

    I flew with Ethiopia Airlines last week and due to delayed flights, my baggage has not reached my destination. I have been in contact with BidAir but this has not been helpful.

    My baggage reference is ET966989 and ET966988

    This has been a very inconvenient experience for I had meetings to attend and I had to buy new clothes. I am very unhappy about this situation.

    Good Morning, I flew with Ethiopean on the 23 of July and my luggage was damaged, reported it at Bidair, and unfortunately they couldenā€™t repair it but a would get a compensation. Until today iā€™m still getting promises waiting and as many comments no one answers a phone at Ethiopean? What can I do?

    I have 3 x23 kg luggage and 2 x hand luggage. One of the handluggage is a tube with a painting within and with a length of 1.15 m and diameter of 16 cm : will this be allowed in the cabin as handluggage ?

    I am most distressed, that while searching for my passport – antidepressant medication was highlighted. As a result – and almost 47-year-old mother missed her flight to the UK. Which my baggage aboad. I wish to find the where this bag is as it contains my graduation dresses and presents from my children.

    To say I am angry – might just be a downpayment.

    My luggage is aboard and I am still stranded it cape town.

    Either put me on the next flight or pay for the next one.

    I demand your prompt response.

    Antidepressants are not illegal.

    Further to my previous mail of not being able to contact the Cape Town office I read through the comments listed and there are many,many complaints about this and nothing being done to rectify this problem.I do believe Ethiopian Airlines should make a change to the management in there Cape Town office as this is ridiculous that one cannot contact an airline office.

    for anybody who ever planned to use Ethiopian Airlines for any trip, PLEASE do yourself a favor!!!….Stay away as far as possible!!!!

    telephone lines do not respond and e mails never get proper replies!!

    After flying for more than 45 year, this is by far the worst experience ever encountered!!! ” customer service ” is totally non existent here!!

    you have been warned, do not start crying afterwards!!!….I am one of the thousands that unfortunately had to experience this!!

    I have tried all of the telephone numbers I could find on the internet for Ethiopain Airlines (a total of 7) only the technical department’s number went through. The others either give a buzy tone or says “your call cannot be completed at this time”
    We have an urgent issue and the online agent advised us to go to Ghana to make a physical payment. We are in South Africa.

    So much for “75 years of excellence” as they claim

    Hi, have been trying to contact Ethiopian Airlines for the past few days with no success.I booked a return flight from Cape Town to London just before the lockdown. I was unable to use my ticket I would like to rebook.When I contacted your web site it requires flight details, the only details that I can find on the issued ticket is the ticket number which is.0713764574679 and a confirmation number KMMFVR. When I give these details I am informed that you have no record but the ticked price was debited from my credit card account by Ethiopian Airlines.C an you please resolve this problem

    My luggage went missing in Frankfurt on 26 June when our connection flight go cancelled.

    Since then Ethiopian Airlines have not helped, not updated me, nor can they even tell me if my luggage left Cape Town or where it is.

    My lost luggage has been reported and I have a case number but no response from ET to find my luggage.

    Been trying Cape Town offices and all the numbers allocated for South Africa ā€¦ they never answer itā€™s just so bad and so freaking frustrating šŸ˜”šŸ˜”
    My husband has not received his bag landing in dar es Salam on the 11th July 2022 he left Cape Town airport on the 10th July 2022
    We have been emailing and doing everything we could think of getting in contact and tracing the bag

    When asking what happens if the bag is not going and itā€™s missing
    No one says anything
    I know he can claim back itā€™s protocol
