I cannot believe the difficulty I have had in trying to pay for a confirmed booking. The page will not accept perfectly valid expiry date on the credit card, it rejects a perfectly valid UK post code. The site then indicated that in the event of a problem a number of numbers to call. Two are agents, who are not Ethiopian airways staff, who then come up with various reason why the booking code is invalid. They tell you the airline web side is down.They then demand an in increased payments and get quite shirty when you insist on speaking to the airline direct and not to a dodgy agent. At the moment I have spent in excess of four hours trying to pay. Official lines are either answered by a travel agent (not employed by the airline)m or are not answered at all) or you hold for up to 40 minutes. I am now forced to approach another airline who hopefully will have some sort of on line booking system that works! It is simply not good enough.
