Travel during pregnancy in Saudi Arabian Airlines
Pregnancy rules:
- Expectant mothers can travel in Saudi Arabian Airlines till 32nd week of the Single pregnancy and multiple pregnancy.
- Between 32 weeks to 36 weeks, a medical certificate is required to travel which stated that you are fit to travel from your doctor or midwife.
- Medical clearance will be required if:Child birth is expected in less than 4 weeks.Uncertainty exists over the progress of the pregnancy and the date of delivery.There were previous multiple births childbirth complications are expected.The medical certificate must be issued within 7 days of the flight date.
- At 36 weeks of pregnancy you will not be accepted to travel.

Since 19 years of my gulf life only 2time I used other airlines than saudia.but from the 15th of August we around 380passenhers are really struggled lots.our actual flight time is 1.45am on 15 Aug,due to the floods flight cancelled,this we can understand,but after long discussion rallies we are accomodated to 3hotels in jeddah.there no officials bother about us.finaly 3days later we all understand that Saudia will not take any positive action unless,Cochin air port re open.we paid Jeddah airport travel office extra money and re route the ticket to trivandrum.even a circular which mentioned that no extra cost will be charged.18th we arrived trv ,but lagauge not cames.after 3days informed us to come trv and collect personally.for my case again traveled around 160km.after gets lagauge,I asked some officials about the travel allowance.they told me ,there is nothing,but you can claim by online,luckily one lady is also coming the same and she expressed her feelings in a hard way.then we both got Indian rupees 1000ea instead of around 5000 of our taxi fare.so this is our last trip Insha Allah with Saudia and we will explain our experience to all of our friends, families,and even social medias
