Hi i am trying to ring Singapore Airline office to extend my ticket. The officer told me that he will get back to me after finalising the amount i need to pay. But its been 24 hours i didn’t get back any answer. And again i am trying to reach them but i am in queue for last 1 hour. Please help
I booked three Singapore Airlines, Sydney Delhi, return tickets for my family on Sep 25, 2018 through BYOjet (Ref: BYO8422706). Paid $2663.28 via credit card.
On receiving the itinerary, the return date was shown as March 15, 2018 instead of Feb 15, 2018.
I rang on Sep 26, 2018 (within 15 hours of making the booking). They are asking for an exorbitant “change of date” fee of $500 per person ($260 airline fee + $140 byojet fee + $100 fare difference). That’s $1500 for three of us. Even now, for those dates, I’m getting a full (to and fro) fare for $748 per person on their website via Thai and $1019 via Singapore Airlines. I’m also getting a full return fare of $749 for those dates, via Kayak.
They have even refused a refund (100% fee for cancellation).
The travel agent, BYOJet has quoted “Singapore Airline date change fee” of $260 per person, i.e. a total of $780. Can you please waive this fee for us, given that there are genuine circumstances, as under:
1. I called within 15 hours of making the booking, which proves it’s not a change of mind.
2. My husband’s approved leave from work is only till mid Feb and my son’s Uni classes start in late Feb. We cannot return in mid March, as booked.
3. Even now, for those dates, I’m getting a full (to and fro) fare for $748 per person on their website via Thai and $1019 via Singapore Airlines (screenshots available). I’m also getting a full return fare of $749 for those dates, via Kayak (screenshot available).
4. This trip was made to see our ageing parents and I cannot afford to pay another $1500 for the trip.
At most, BYOjet should charge me the fare difference, if applicable. BYOjet reviews that I have now read, show how they have swindled many innocent customers and will continue to do so, if no action is taken. Please help.
I have been on the phone for one and a half hour now and still being told that I am in a Que???? Are there actually anybody answering your phone or is this just a hoax??? This will be the last time I’ll be flying with Singapore airlines when I get this sort of treatment.
It is extremely bad service to let customers wait on the phone for over an hour. Disgusting really, Shame on you.

Although I was refunded the cost of airfare to the Uk , booking number TPKF2F, Flight numberSQ256 due to covid my seats were paid for and as far as I can tell no refund was given… The flight was for 5/5/2020.My husband and I have today booked with you to Uk for 2/8/22.
