this is the worst airline company i have seen. They never pick up the phone no proper answer. And when they want to get ur money they are so nice to you. They change the flight date and time without asking you. after all we have paid money to you. i’m never gonna travel by this airline anymore and nor i’m gonna suggest to anybody to take this flight with no customer service
This is the worst international airlines. I cancelled my tickets on Dec. 20, 2019. It has been over 6 weeks and refund has not yet been processed.
I have called their ecommerce contact number in india +91 11 2466 7474. Nobody picked up the phone. I have tried 18 times. 16 times no reply. 2 times somebody picked up the phone. After i asked for customer service, that lady hungup on me!
I have requested refund 7 times through their proposed process and of no avail. The amount is over $7000!
My flight arrived here on Saturday 15th June, but till date up till now there is no communication regarding my baggage which did not arrive with flight.
There is no response on the phone no.(001-650-8218830) which is given in baggage claim and no response or communication by email also, please help out as all my clothes, my medicines, for one month stay are in the baggage.

Going to India was bad experience plan was so broken has taped business class seats floor was dirty service was bad no internet nothing was working
Than coming back plane was okay but when I deposit baggage it was okay they also checked weight of hand bag they did not say any thing when I went to take flight they check again my hand bag and said itās over weight and charge tons of money.i didnāt have any choice just to pa 18,000 rupees thatās not fair they should have said something at the baggage I could have given stuff back to my family or packed in my suit case
So it will be nice some body can look into it and call me / send letter or pay me back because it wasnāt my fault

This must be the WORST Airline in existence in the world. For 3 days I am trying to make a reservation, on Internet, by Fone at the SFO Airport or even by calling a # in India which I found somewhere. A mean woman at the Airport told me the # is for Cargo and cant help me. Gave me another # there a woman told me to send her details for the flight which was 3 days ago. Now I am calling for 2 days but nobody answers and finally gave up. and made Reservation with somebody else.

I am trying to reach Air India for 3 days in US and in India but I am not able to get any help. I am a healthcare worker and beside my work stress I have to deal with this additional stress of getting my Air India ticket fixed. No one picks up the phone given at SFO airport office. Toll free numbers connect me to call center in India and those guys have no idea of their job. Is there someone who can help me please.

I am not a flyer but I tried to contact Air India on behalf of a stranded passenger. I have exactly similar experience as other who posted here. I contacted SFO customer office and they contacted Air India Office. The manager Anju Sahani is professional and she followed thru and called me back with the information I was looking for. I was ready to give up on Air India but Ms Sahani responded professionally.

Yesterday 20th Jan 2022, me and my husband came to Sanfransisco by AI173D flight (rescheduled flight of AI173 dated 18th Jan 2022). We had booked from Bangalore to SFO. Bangalore to Delhi AI808 we travelled on 18th and reached Delhi by 11:45pm and luggage was booked till SFO. Immediately after landing at Delhi, we came to know that our connecting flight AI173 on 19th 4am was cancelled. We were shifted to hotel and told that we need not carry our luggage. On 20th we started from there at 3pm by AI173D and during checkin, Air India counter people informed that baggage retagging will be done. On reaching SFO, we didn’t get our luggages. There was no one to report near luggage collecting belts desk. Later we went to air India counters on the top and we were given one email ID where we have to send the missing information.
My daughter sent the mail sending full details with details the same night. Today we are trying to contact desperately and are not able to get any information about our missing luggage. Our daily medicines and daily accessories are held up in the baggage. Need urgent to sort out the issue please.
I and my husband travelled on 25th March, 2022 from Delhi to San Francisco in AI 173. Two of the suitcases were totally damaged. We reported the incident at the airport and the staff took several pictures of the damaged bags. I was told someone would call or will take appropriate action and send a check. I did not receive anything so far. Tried calling san Francisco office and wrote emails but no answer. Please address this issue and contact us.
I did the booking and same day i realized that i need to stay 2 more days, i have called the 18886341407 number every day to change. First 2 days I was told system is down, and now I have been asked a crazy price for the change as it has been over 48 hours. I called everyday and no one was there to help. If i am not helped, i will call visa and call this a fraud and not fly with Air India, i as a US citizen am very frustrated with the customer service. Website still shows the same amount

I flew with Air India from Baroda (BDQ) to San Francisco (SFO). Upon arrival at my destination SFO, my baggage was missing.
At SFO, I immediately submitted a claim for the missing luggage and it was confirmed by the Air India authorities at the airport that the baggage did not arrive at SFO airport.
I tried reaching numerous times to the helpline number but no one picks it. As per their baggage tracking website, my baggage is still untraceable. This is so highly inconvenient that I had to buy each and every other stuff again.
