    I am a Medical Doctor in Japan. One of my patient, have Multiple Sclerosis, is travelling back and from UK, in June and July. The flght number are EK 317 and EK 031 to from Osaka – Dubai – London, and EK 002 and EK 316 from Londob-Dubai – Osaka. The patients needs to carry a medication the should be keep refrigerated in the cabin. I need otop confirm that the doctor needs. I will write a letter that the patient need to show in the Custom control. Could you tell me whether I should write a letter to keep the medication to be refregerated in the cabin, also? And, please let me know that I nend to write a letter for each flight, in this case I need to write four letters?

    Dear Sir or Madam,
    the ticket was fully refunded because I never received via email the ticket and booked another one the next day. Thank you for paying. Part of the ticket were bought with my 44 829 “Skyward Miles”. There were never refunded. I find that quite surprising because Emirates agreed that it was not my fault.
    But in the end I am grateful because without the incentive of the miles it opens the airline world for my and I will book in future other airlines for my flights to Europe.
    But I wanted to let you know that I find this treatment quite surprising after a long and very happy relationship with Emirates.

    I am using this media to highlight the bad treatment I received from Emirates Airlines and how terrible their customer care is. I am also using to direct my complaint to Emirates Airlines.
    I booked a round trip Ticket with my family of 4 children from Abuja to Delhi and back with a stopover in Dubai .I paid for the trip on 28 June 2022 and my flight out of Abuja was scheduled on 13 August and my return was booked for 16 September 2022.
    I had a stopover in Dubai for both Leisure and work .I had planned to attend a Gyne-oncology conference In Sharjah while my children did sightseeing. The hotel booking were all paid for my stay in UAE.
    My first lag of the journey was to Delhi, India (my home country) to visit my ailing mother . I had planned to be with for 13 Aug to 3 Sept (21 days) and from Delhi to Dubai my flight was on 3rd Sept and had planned to stay for 14 days and my return to Abuja was booked on 16 Sept.
    On 19th August , I received an email from Emirates Team that my flight is cancelled from Dubai International (DXB) to Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (ABV) , flight EK0785 on Friday 16 September.
    I was at loss of words. I called the office, their horrific response was- Emirates Airlines have cancelled all flights to Nigeria from Sept 1 and I had an option fly back if I decide to do so before Sept 1 .
    I was shocked, when asked for more options, I was offered none. I told them I couldn’t leave my ailing mother whom I had come to visit in India and I have an upcoming conference in Sharjah on 12-15 Sept which I canā€™t miss, so I needed more options.
    I contacted Emirates on severally, was asked to change my flight for an earlier date or loose the ticket. When I asked for refund , i was told i would get a ridiculous amount of 50 Dollars per person because I bought a super saver ticket. I wondered if that was a crime?
    I was furious because the average cost for 5 tickets on other airlines on my dates from Dubai to Abuja were 2500-3500 dollars and Emirates airlines was offering me 250 dollars as refund for 5 tickets for the same route.It was a joke indeed.
    I asked for opening of my tickets from Dubai to Abuja sector, the Emirates airline did open the tickets but instead of Abuja to Lagos . The reason being Emirates flies only to Lagos in Nigeria, I was asked to check the Emirates office for more details.
    I reached out to them In Dubai but was not given any reassuring answer and was told that the ticket is opened till 8 October, 2022. Myticket opened for a month and to a destination that I never booked while buying the ticket.
    I had to cut my budget and buy 5 new Tickets with Ethiopian airlines from Dubai to Abuja and which costed me approximately 2500 dollars . I shortened my holidays, missed my conference because there were no available flights on my desired dates.
    The whole episode with Emirates has been very painful and made my holidays a nightmare. It was mentally traumatizing experience.I am therefore filing a complaint on behalf of 5 persons- myself and 4 children to Emirates Airlines.
    In accordance with Regulation (EC) 261/2004, I herewith assert the following claims:
    ā€¢ As Emirates did not offer me any other transport, I had to organise and pay for alternative transport myself. I am therefore entitled to reimbursement of the costs of the alternative transport, which amounted to 2500 dollars.
    AND
    ā€¢ No services were rendered or offered to me to help me, so I want my ticket from Dubai to Abuja to opened for 24 months .I should be at liberty to use the ticket anytime I wish within 24 months.
    Pursuant to Art. 7 of Regulation (EC) 261/2004, I am also entitled to compensation for the cancellation occurring at such short notice.
    In this context, I refer to the strict ruling on extraordinary circumstances passed by the highest court of justice, on which grounds I request you to pay the compensation due to me, the amount of which is calculated in accordance with the flight distance .This totals to 3000 Euros (600 Euros per person) .I can present receipts of all tickets purchased when I am asked to do so.

    We had a return flight from Dubai to Manchester International Airport on 04 March 2023.
    During this return flight we had a screaming baby infront of us for nearlly the whole 8 hour journy hope meaning we had no rest.
    We have paid extra for this section hoping to avoid this situation. When speaking with the Air Hostess regarding this issue , she said there was nothing she could do, but advised us when we got home to make this complaint to the Customer services department.
    We have contacted this deprtment several times but they do not seem to be interested in resolving our issue which we found very disturbing for an airline which claims to be one of the better ones.

    Had an unpleasant experience in the so called World’ Class Airlines Emirates.
    child meal was pre selected for my 4 year old and I was unable to change it at the time of web check in.
    Apparently A child Meal is a NON VEG MEAL.
    When requested upon change as we were VEGETARIANS.
    The staff simply said that the system has a child meal and we can not change it.
    They even refused to take the meal box and said they would take it later.
    They politely and sternly kept saying that after they have served they will come back and change the meal.
    This is unacceptable behaviour and service.
    And to my unpleasant suprise this happened both ways. Mumbai to Dubai and Dubai to Mumbai journey.
