  • Expectant mothers can travel in Turkish Airline till 36th week of the Single pregnancy and 32 week for multiple pregnancy.
  • After 28th week, a medical certificate is required to travel which stated that you are fit to travel from your doctor or midwife.

    I flew on 3.4.2018 from Helsinki to Istanbul with TK1762 and from Istanbul to Asmara with TK576 for development cooperation work. I had to pay for 25kg of extra-luggage, in total 675€, on behalf of my employee Finn Church Aid. Due to limitations on my bank account, I paid 200€ from my Credit card, 200€ from my Debit card and 275€ in cash. As the gates were already closing, the Turkish Airline desk staff did not have time to write a receipt for me on the total payment but promised to send it to my email the same day. Yet, I have still not received the receipt in my email and thus cannot reimburse the payment from my employee. Please, contact me on the matter as soon as possible.

    The flying dates for one customer has been changed, why? The new date is not possible for your customer and she needs her money back, but it seems to be impossible, because it´s not possible to contact to you.

    There is a bossy lady at the office, doesn’t smile, she looks very pissed all the time and basically has 0 interest in solving your issue. I almost lost my flight due to her non-willingness to help. She offered me to reschedule flight which costed 500 euros extra. I still had one hour to board the plane, refused to let me drop my luggage so I ended up leaving my luggage behind and boarded the plane without it, only clothes on my body. Thank god for good Finnish border guards who actually understood my situation and helped me board the plane without Turkish Airlines’ assistance.

    Why my first and second name are written together in my ticket KARIANTERO must be KARI ANTERO (like in my pasport ). Is this problem

      Most of the airport will verify the name with the passport. Please call and check with your destination airport or your airline.
