Hi.,
I flew Ethiopian Airlines from Chennai , India to Kilimanjaro and back to Chennai in July -Aug.2022. The departure from Chennai on the 29th July was delayed by almost 22 hours owing to some technical problem in one of the engines of the aircraft , and I reached my destination 24 hours behind the originally scheduled time .
Have been requesting Ethiopian Airlines , Chennai for a letter from them confirming the delay , and the cause for it , so as to claim compensation from my insurer as per the terms of travel insurance I had taken . Even after a month of my first e.mail to them , and several e.mails and phone calls their executive in-charge of Chennai operations is yet to issue the letter. Managed to speak to her over phone on three occasions , and every time I was told the letter will be issued ‘immediately’. Would the airline pay me the compensation that the insurer owes me ? It would amount to about 900 $ U.S.
I have bought my ticket today on Ethiopian airlines website. When the ticket was delivered, I notice that name and first name were not in the right order.
What can I do, please to solve this problem?

Dear Ethiopian Airline Management Team,
I write to lay my complaints on flight days changes without my consent.My return ticket from Nigeria to Dallas (USA) was bought and confirmed by sending my ticket via email.Unfortunately,my flight from Chicago to Addisa Babba on the 11th of February to enable me to join the Addissa to Lagos flight .This necessitated the airline to schedule me for the next day( Sunday 12th of February) flight to Lagos.The airline accommodated me in a hotel till the next day.
To my uttermost surprise,at boarding (8:15am) I was told I am not on that flight(ET 901 ADD to LOS).On complaining i was told to bring 200 US dollars to make changes back to enable me fly that day.What an unethical manner,for reasons not mine.I was furious and did not make the payment.
They then schedule me to fly the next day to Lagos ,accommodating me in the hotel again.(ET 901 ADD to LOS) on Sunday 13th of February,2023.Please see attached all refenced tickets. Delays caused me job and family inconveniences. I humbly ask that my case be looked into and adequate compensation be provided to me.
