I want to reschedule my journey from the UK to Cameroon, but it is not easy.
I’m trying to enquire how much it would cost me to change the date of my flight from Heathrow – Harare leaving the 28th September to August the 28th.
Today makes it the 27th day of arriving Heathrow from Lagos Nigeria without my missing baggage, and not even a call from the Ethiopian airlines management. I was only given a reference number at the point of entry(AHL LHRET20679) with all my details supplied.
I try to book a flight to Addis ; unfortunately the office line is busy for nearly three hours non stop. it make you crazy unable too do what you plan.

My family and I are stranded in Tanzania due to the fact that Ethiopian Airlines have stopped flights to the UK. We are now in curing cost that we can not afford and with no assistance at all form the Airline, I need a prompt refund so that we can fly with another airline out of Tanzania. I went to the Ethiopian Airline office in Dar es salaam, and they said I have to contact the London Office in order to get my refund, I have paid for a service that I did not receive, it is only right that I should have my money refunded to me. Please can you advise on this matter
Booking Reference BBZNAF BREWER
Dear Sir/Madam
I write in connection with the above referenced booking & in particular the return flights from Blantyre to London
A few details:
ET 875 BLZ to ADD on Tuesday 8 Nov. Due to depart 3.10pm. We checked in online & boarding passes were issued at BLZ airport. Flight was delayed several times.
At about 6.00 pm we were informed that the flight was cancelled & that we should contact our local contact/booking agent to make overnight stay arrangements.
We were also informed that a flight ET 875 was scheduled for the next day (Wednesday 9 November) & that we should attend BLZ airport next day 4 hours before the scheduled departure time in order to secure new boarding passes.
This we did & the local representatives efficiently rearranged our bookings.
These were
ET 875 BLZ to ADD Wednesday 10 Nov delayed departure arriving approx 9.30 pm
ET 700 ADD to LHR on Thursday 10 Nov Departed 1.20 am & arrived as scheduled .
You will note that as a consequence of the above we incurred a delay in arrival in London of 24 hours with consequent overnight & other costs in Blantyre.
I understand the some compensation for this delay is due from Ethiopian Airlines.
Please confirm accordingly & the method for making payment in UK £.
In order to make any further possible claim on our travel insurance would you please also let me have written confirmation of the cause of the delay & subsequent cancellation of ET875 9 Nov.
I understand this was due to ‘Operational problems’ ……..apparently tyre problems on the incoming aircraft due to fly from Ndola.
I look forward to hearing from you further.
