What is the SEA Visitor Pass Program?
It is a program that allows members of the general public who’re not flying that day to visit Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and enjoy the amenities on the post-security side of the airport. You can meet them at the international arrivals meeting point. You can use Visitor Pass to see off friends and family who are departing internationally and domestically and arriving domestically.
On What hours does a passenger enter the airport on a SEA Visitor Pass?
Security check-in: Checkpoint 3
Entry hours: 5am – 10pm (7 days a week); Last entrance: At 9.00 pm.
Allotted Passes: 300 / day
Note: Many of the airport services and restaurants close at 10:00 p.m. so program access terminates at that time. At peak travel times, SEA recommend two or more hours before you want to be post-security.

How can a visitor apply for SEA Visitor Pass at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)?
You can apply the day of your visit or up to 7 days in advance. SEA Visitor Pass is limited to 300 visitors a day, you can see a countdown of the number of passes remaining on the application page.

- Enter visitor name, DOB/Gender (Name must match your government issued ID i.e. passport or driverās license)

- Select the date of visit
- “Submit” your request.
- Confirmation email will be sent to you.
Get TSA’s Approval
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will reviewed and approved your application. If you’re applying,
- In advance: Youāll receive an email with your approval status after midnight on the day of your visit.
- For same day entrance: Youāll receive an email with your approval status within 15 minutes.
Show off your SEA Visitor Pass
- If approved for entry, youāll receive an email with a QR code to scan upon entry at TSA Checkpoint 3.
- You have it on hand (either print or digital) along with your TSA-approved ID.
- Each person using SEA Visitor Pass must display their individual QR code and ID at security
- Note: Without the approval email will be denied entry.

Program and Security Information to the Visitors
- SEA recommends that you depart by 10:00 p.m.
- You’re subject to the same security regulations as passengers boarding an aircraft and must comply with TSAās screening procedures and policies, do not bring items prohibited by TSA and review the 3-1-1 Liquids Rules.
- Expedited screening and trusted traveler programs like TSA PreCheck and CLEAR are cannot be used with SEA Visitor Pass.
- Limited Access of 300 passes / day and are granted on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to TSA approval
SEA Visitor Pass is a permanent program. - Port of Seattle has the right to cancel the program or modify program rules at any time without prior notice.
- SEA Visitor Pass access is approved only for personal use; commercial or professional use is forbidden and will result in revocation of program access.
What ID’s are accepted for SEA Visitor Pass?
- Driver’s licenses or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles (or equivalent)
- State-issued Enhanced Driverās License
- U.S. passport / U.S. passport card
- DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST)
- U.S. Department of Defense ID, including IDs issued to dependents
- Permanent resident card

- An acceptable photo ID issued by a federally recognized, Tribal Nation/Indian Tribe

- You can bring only 1 personal item such as a purse, briefcase, or bag through the security checkpoint.
How to get visitor pass for a family or group?
- Every non-traveling visitor must complete the online registration form and be approved for entrance, regardless of age.
- Minors without valid photo IDs must apply and be accompanied by an adult who has also been approved for SEA Visitor Pass entry.
Can minors use SEA Visitor Pass?
- Yes, minors are eligible to participate.
- Visitors over the age of 15 who have a TSA-approved photo ID must complete registration online
- Bring the same photo ID that used on registration to the airport with them.
- Parents or guardians of minors without a photo ID must complete registration online.
- Every adult must bring their own QR code along with the QR codes for any minors they are supervising.
- Minors under the age of 18 must remain under escort at all times by an approved adult SEA Visitor Pass participant.
- One adult SEA Visitor Pass participant can accompany up to five minor participants.
Where is arrival gate D20?
Several flights at SEA park away from the gate and bring passengers to the terminal by shuttle bus. If you are meeting a passenger at Gate D20, you can meet them on the escalator landing leading down to the D Concourse terminal train station near Gate D2.

1. Can I use SEA Visitor Pass with CLEARĀ® or TSA PreāĀ®?
- No, SEA Visitor Pass can’t be used with the special access programs. It is not an expedited entry program, and all participating visitors must use the security line at Checkpoint 3.
2. How to get accessibility and wheelchair assistance?
- SEA Airport have various amenities for travelers of all backgrounds, including a Sensory Room, adult changing tables, Service Animal Relief Areas, and more. Wheelchairs and wheelchair attendants to push wheelchairs are not available with the Visitor Pass program. When using the pass, participants are welcome to enter the checkpoints with their own wheelchair or mobility aids.
3. How to meet passengers arriving on an international flight?
- If you approved for SEA Visitor Pass access, you can meet passengers arriving from domestic destinations in the United States at their gates.
- You can meet passengers arriving from most international destinations outside security at the Baggage Claims level in Gina Marie Lindsay Hall.
- If passengers are arriving from Dublin or the Canadian cities of Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver, you can meet them at their arrival gate because they have already been cleared for entry to the United States.
